Z-Wave Plus Smart On/Off Light and Appliance Plug, Dual Outlet Plug-in, 1 Alway-On+ 1 Smart, Built-in Zwave Repeater, Zwave Hub Required, Works with SmartThings, Wink- ZW36

It is now working but here are some issues I ran into:On the first day I was able to add it to Smartthings (ST), and it did work.But then I had to remove the device from my smartthings app and re-add it. After removing device from ST app , I was Not able to add it back again, I tried for a long time, and there were no instructions on the manufacturer website. I then sent an email to their support and they recommended these steps to re-add it to my ST app:The solution is:1. Please take the plug off from the wall outlet—-to make the plug power off.2. Please press and hold the manual button on the plug, then plug it in without release the button.( it’s important!)3. After plug it in, hold 10 seconds. holding it for just 10 seconds I was not able to add it back to ST app. But then I tried holding the little button longer than 10 seconds which then caused led button to blink which was good. Because then I was able to add it successfully to ST app & hub.I am taking off a star because they should have had instructions for this model on their website so I wouldn't have to email support and wait for instructions. I wish the device was a little smaller.I've only had it working one day, I'll update if anything happens.

Got this product in and it does not work. The device is supposed to have a manual onn/off switch, however that does not work. One plug side would not power anything at all. When following all directions very closely as it relates to pairing the device, it never became visible to smartthings hub. So as a recap, the manual on/off switch did not work, the right side plug did not work and it was never discoverable.

I purchase one of there to integrate with a Vera Edge. I have numerous smart plugs but this is my first from EvaLogik. It paired with the Vera Edge but would not switch. Vera reported "purging associations" when I attempted to switch it. EvaLogik responsed to my question here and eventually concluded I had a faulty switch. They quickly replaced it. The new one paired immediately and worked well.Overall, its a nice design. It does not block the other outlet and is relatively compact. The flat design and side sockets allow it to be placed behind furniture easily. I like that it includes an un-switched outlet so after the smart plug, you still retain 2 sockets for other uses. Well done.

We needed to place a nightlight on a bedroom wall to act as an Alert when people step on to our front porch. This device integrated seamlessly with our Vera Plus system to turn on a red bulb nightlight perfectly. I didn't want to install a special outlet and we may want to move it in the future. Vera accepted and configured this device on the 1st try. Great product. Will buy more. We did not integrate it w/ Alexa directly. Our Vera Plus hub does the linking of all devices with Alexa.

Installed quickly and easily first try. You do need to have your controller in add mode BEFORE you plug this in. If you do it should find it and include it in the network quickly like mine did. Also, I was able to easily adjust 1 parameter to have the LED on when the plug is activated and off when not. No issues with that either. The unit is responsive and reliable from everything I've seen so far. Already ordered a few more.

Works fine now that it is synched with my Z-wave network. It refused to awaken to be included for dozens of attempts until it finally just worked. I have no explanation. It has worked reliably for four weeks now. Good not to lose an unswitched outlet too.

I have about 10 devices on my home control network including on/off switches, thermostat, energy monitor, and dimmer switches. This device was super easy to add to my network using the app on my phone. It took less than a minute to add, just followed the directions on the package. I am switching a 13 watt LED light and there are no issues with the function and no flickering at all. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and I will definitely buy more next time I add a lamp.

I have many applications that demand an uncontrolled "pass through" outlet. This is now the most economical as compared tomthe GE and related generic modules.
