I had to buy a different waterproof cover to go under this for my couch. I found out the hard way when my dog had an accident and this did not keep it from going through as advertised. I've had it for 3 years so it is durable and easy to wash but just not water/pee proof.

Is not waterproof but protect the sofa from scratches and dog hair

Recently I bought a sofa cover for my couch because I have cats. I have 1 cat in particular who likes to scratch a lot and I needed to find something that would stop that. My couch has survived and I have no scratches so far and I wanted to keep it that way. Also after her spay surgery, she has accidents. We have tried to figure out why and the docs don't know why this is happening. Therefore I wanted something that would be waterproof just in case she has an accident. This cover protected my couch very well. Also, when I bought it, the price was $50.99 and 2 days later when I went to buy another one and it was down to $34 and some change. I asked the company if they would do a change of price refund and they were happy to do so. I was glad that they were nice enough to do so. I bought two so that when an accident happens, I can wash one while putting the other on the couch. I would recommend this cover. I saw another review that said that it can't stand a wash, but I can tell you that if you follow what it says on washing it (delicate for a wash on cold and tumble dry to dry) then you won't have a problem. I have washed mine already and had no problems with it.

We bought a gray sectional so we invested in 2 of the large covers & a smaller wing chair cover & am able to cover 90% of couch. We have 3 dogs & 2 kids & a toddler potty training. We threw out the last couch because we did not invest in protection. I wish I did. Stupid me! So I am not messing around this time. My advice is to also add little water protection pads underneath as extra extra protection. So underneath these covers I have washable pee pads. Since it’s a sectional the covers are more designed for regular couches and it has a strap attached for you to put around the back of those couches. I can’t do that so when the dogs play or kids play it can shift so that’s another reason why I wanted more protection under the cover. So far since having the cover it has been a lifesaver. It has not been peed on fully so I can’t say how good this repels liquids from penetrating through but I have had close calls and minor incidences and am super glad I invested in protection.

Hands down the BEST couch cover I own. I love this cover. It actually stays in place. I have had to resew the seam in 1 spot (about a 5 inch tear) but with a 140 lb mastiff making it his bed I'm okay with that small issue. My couch is brand new and after 9 months it is still looking untouched and new under the cover! I tried to purchase another one so there is always protection when I have to clean, which is super easy, a quick wash in the machine and hung to dry, and still no stains even with toddler grandkids and the dog!😀) but they are currently unavailable.😥 I sure hope this cover comes back I will buy 2 just in case it disappears.

Wow, is all I can say. This cover is exactly what I've been looking for, and I'm beyond thrilled with it! I've had some issues with my cats adjusting to our son, and they've been taking their displeasure with us out on my new furniture. This cover easily wipes clean of all cat hair. And best of all, it truly has repelled any liquid unpleasantness from penetrating my sofa. The construction seems solid. It has grippers underneath to keep it in place, as well as an elastic band around the back that is very secure. I love it so much that I have purchased the recliner covers as well just in case the cats decide to venture that way. I've got to admit that I've tried so many different covers, and this is by far the best I've found. I just hope that it holds up, because then it would be perfect!

I bought these covers in blue since it matches my dark blue sofas. I have a cat with white/orange fur and I got really tired of vacuuming his fur off of it, so these covers are very useful since fur doesn't stick to it. My cat doesn't like to nap on the sofa as much because of the slippery nylon texture, which is a good thing! I think my sofa is more comfortable without the cover, but I have to make a choice. It is easy to wash the covers in the washing machine and put them back on pretty quickly. They are very grippy on the opposite side but occasionally do slip off after long term use.

This cover works very well for everything it says it does. It is water resistant. It is very easy to clean. It does the job. The only thing I’m not a fan of, which isn’t the companies fault and nothing can be done about it is it will not look as nice as the picture. I have to adjust mine all the time after anyone sits in it and sometimes I think it looks sloppy. But if you need a chair cover that works, I would recommend this one for sure. Just keep in mind you’ll have to work with it quite often to make it look nice.
