Good size, nice color, feels good - but has developed several pulled threads. Don't know how it'll handle being washed.Update: June 15, 2018 . . . When I returned this blanket, I ordered another, similar blanket from the same vendor. It, too, developed a few thread pulls - - at which point I had to face the fact that I have a nasty habit of sometimes plopping down on the bed fully dressed (including still wearing my shoes) for an afternoon nap. I had never done that before, but as my age advances past late 70s this widower has no-one around to put him back on track. Anyway, after honest reflection, I cannot blame a blanket for being subjected to abuse, and I owe the manufacturer and the distributor an apology for submitting an unfair review. So, to get the record straight, I upgrade my review from three to five stars.

I just purchased 4 of these and washed before using (as we really should all bedding). The photos show all the fibers that came off in the dryer. I have an industrial sized speed queen dryer but I am still going to have to remove and clean out the ventilation. I tried to lay the blankets out and they were just shedding fibers on everything! They are all being returned!

I recently received a Queen size white blanket and this is my initial review before I use it on a bed. I agree with other reviewers that the blanket had a distinct nasty smell when I opened the plastic case so I followed instructions and washed it separately in cold water. The smell was gone after washing and I placed it in a gas dryer. When it was dry I retrieved four or five handfuls of pilling and lint from the dryer trap. Wow! I inspected the blanket on my bed and found quite a few pulled threads. When I took measurements it was not the original 90 X 90 inches, but had shrunk 6 inches in width, (now 84 inches). The blanket seems heavy and I'm wondering if it will live up to it's "all season" listing in hot summer months. I'm about to find out.I will submit a second report after the blanket has had regular usage in summer and winter. For now I have given it two stars based on the shrinkage, pulled threads and "all season" listing.

I bought this cotton blanket for my King size bed. It said it was a king size blanket in the description. I washed when I received it as that is what the instructions say. When it came out of dryer it had shrunk a lot. I am now keeping this for a queen size bed. Now I need to shop for another King blanket. I am not happy with quality.

I really wanted to like this blanket. It had mixed reviews but I decided I'd give it a try, thinking that the nay-sayers were too picky, and because the majority of the reviews were positive. Some people complained about how much lint just this blanket shed when it was washed and dried, but I figured I could handle the lint. And I did. Other people commented about snags/pulled threads on it but they thought it could be due to laying on the blanket with their shoes on, with their clothes on, or maybe it was their pet's fault. Well I'm here to tell you that the snags weren't due to anything other than poor quality. I did nothing but unpack the blanket, wash it, and dry it all with no jewelry on. I pulled it out of the dryer and the poor blanket had snags/pulled threads on it like it had been in my house for years. I'm packing it up and sending it right back. Don't waste your time with this blanket.

This blanket is OK. It's a nice, soft fabric, and I wanted an all cotton blanket. It's warm enough for winter when doubled over! There are already some pulled threads, but the dog may have done that. The smell that other people noted when first receiving did come out in first washing. I ordered it in what I thought was a neutral beige or tan, but it turned out to be more a mustard color--don't know if it was a shipping mistake or the color is "off". Not worth sending back, as the color wasn't that critical. Too soon to say if it'll hold up to a lot of washings.

I’ve been wanting a cotton blanket for years now, but I could never find one with a pleasing pattern that also fit my budget. Amazon notified me of this lightning deal for like $27 and I jumped on it. Boy, am I glad I did. I wish I’d bought 2 or 3, in fact! 1 to keep on my bed, and extra for those really cold nights, and 1 to keep downstairs as a gigantic throw. Fingers crossed for another lightning deal, because this is everything I could’ve wished for in a cotton blanket. The size is great, the feel is a delight, and it adds just the right amount of warmth over a sheet and under our plush top blanket. Since it’s gotten cold enough in our area of Texas to turn the heat on (very low), when it kicks on, our room was getting so hot that we’d wake up sweating under the weight of our sheet plus plush blanket. Now, I sleep with the sheet and cotton blanket, with the plush just covering my always icy feet, and because it breaths so well and is of just the right weight, we’re sleeping through the night when the heat kicks on. It’s a real game changer.

Do NOT buy this blanket.I ordered it three weeks ago, and the blanket is already falling apart, faded, and looks like I've owned it since childhood. Long strings have pulled up from the fabric, and it snags on everything. My white sheets are covered in fuzz and pieces of string from the blanket. I've since washed it a SINGLE time on a gentle cycle, which ended up clogging up my washing machine and dryer with immense amounts of fuzz and pilling, at least two lint trap's worth.Not worth 1/10th of the price tag.

I bought the twin size as a sofa blanket, and it is perfect! Nice and big and breathable, yet warm; ideal for summer.I washed it before use in cold water, followed by the air setting on the dryer. I was worried it would shrink, so I kept the heat on air but switched it to low since it wasn't drying on the no heat setting. It turned out great.A nice light blanket that is warm enough but breathable too. Better than the polyester ones by far. I love this all cotton blanket!Oh, and it arrived before it was expected.Very satisfied with this purchase.

Washes beautifully, perfect weight and warmth for us both. Sadly tho, sizing is off. We ordered the Queen size advertised as 90" x 90". Perfect I thought - we have a queen size bed/mattress which everyone knows measures 72" long x 60" wide. Well, the package says 90"x90" but the blanket barely hangs over the edges width wise and because I don't take my blankets to the "head" of the mattress there is overhang at the foot end but I certainly cannot tuck it in. Love the blanket just wish it was actually 90" x 90" as advertised.

love these blankets. they are a great price and we prefer natural fibers instead of synthetic. it makes for a more comfortable temperature regulated sleep. You must order one or two sizes larger than your bed size as the cotton weave tighten up and shrinks lots. I have a king size bed and I ordered the California King which shrank to be narrower than my other king size blankets widthwise. the length was ok still after shrinking to fit a regular king bed.I ordered the regular King size blanket for my other Queen size bed and it shrank to queen/Double bed size. it also sheds a ton of lint during the dry cycle. I emptied the lint trap twice during the dry cycle. again this is normal for most natural fibers. The price is great for a nice blanket. I am completely satisfied with my purchase as I had read the other reviews prior to purchase and knew what to expect.

This is a beautiful blanket in colour, texture and weight. I bought the blanket for my husband as a Christmas gift. I’ve only machine washed it a few times and each time I have taken care to follow the instructions on the laundry tag. Last night, fresh out of the dryer I noticed that the seam on one of the corners has come undone and the blanket is starting to unravel.

Very nice blanket it has a nice weight - not to heavy. Warm and just perfect for the in between seasons. We are still using it into November.Just remember to was as per instructions. It retained its shape.
