These gloves look to be of real high quality and purchased by Hui o Laka, operator of Kokee Natural History Museum. We just received them today. They will be undergoing some serious testing in our Kokua Kokee volunteer conservation project at Kokee State Park, Hawaii.

Update: Apologies for the late update, but the seller contacted me after my initial 2 star review and sent me a free pair of light colored gloves to try. My husband did the test and he was satisfied with the quality. Great customer service! Still can't give 5 stars because of the quality of the yellow-colored gloves. 5 stars for customer support though!October 2016: My husband liked these gloves initially, they were comfortable, good for protecting hands for any work in our yard and our DIY building projects. However, after using them for a few weeks, they dyed my husband's hands with yellow stain and he wasn't able to wash this off for 2 days. Wish these worked out better.

These are pretty good work gloves, but I wore holes in two fingers in three or four months. Of course this was serious fence work, cedar cutting and stacking, and that kind of labor. It's so hard to find decent gloves anymore. I gave four stars because all the stitching stayed in place. Most of the gloves anymore pull apart because they have so many little pieces sewed together. That makes no sense to me. Obviously the marketing department designed those gloves. This pair held up well, all except for wearing at the finger tips - one on each hand.

Not a Mans glove. It barely fits my small short fingers and hands. And such short fingers in the gloves that my finger tips are hitting something hard in the finger tips, like they are glued together. And I'm a 5'4" tall woman!

Good fit. Workable. But you NEED rubber gloves underneath unless your OK with orange hands. Yes, even after rinsing them out multiple times.

My hands are beautiful and my nails are precious and I want them to stay that way. So when I need to do some housework, screw in a screw on some cheap IKEA furniture, hammer in a nail to put up my cheap framed artwork, or maybe even when I'm throwing away the trash and I don't want to touch my nasty garbage bin, I put these leather gloves on and my hands feel beautiful in them. I also feel like I'm doing something important when I have them on so I have them on all the time.

They're thick, they're easier to wear than the long ones (provided you dont need the extra arm protection), and they work well for a lot of projects. Just don't get them wet. I gave them 4 stars only because my hands turned orange when i got them wet. It came off fine so I'm not walking around with orange hands. Not a huge deal. I use these to handle exotic animals so I dont get bitten.

Fits as good as any worker's glove is going to fit; a little loose and not super flexible because it's more on the rugged spectrum which is completely acceptable IMO. However, what I don't like is the seams in between the fingers. I can feel it and it's like thick leather rubbing on the webbing of my fingers. Not very comfortable but since I don't wear these very long when I use them, I can manage. Keeping em since they're priced very competitively.
