And you need water. There's no streams or lakes or ponds nearby. Nothing is open, and there's no power to operate a soda machine, even if there was one around. You've got a container in your bug-out bag, but you need a source of clean water.Ever seen those special faucets without handles on the side of a convenience store or gas station, or other commercial building?It's known as a keyed sillcock hydrant. They are everywhere in the suburban and urban environment. They're used by building maintenance people for connecting water hoses for washing sidewalks, etc. It's a good bet that almost all have good water in them 24/7/365, whether the business is open or not. Even with the power down, there's probably going to be some pressure left, which allows you to get some hydration.Without a sillcock key, it's going to be hard to get water. Get one for your bug-out-bag!

Purchased these for our vehicle emergency bags. Good product to have to access most outdoor water facets in an emergency. Well made and offered at a good price.

These work for the most common types of water faucets. Without this tool I would have had serious problems. I have never had one break, but have lost a few so I had to replace them. Will buy again.

My coworkers and I lost the water key for our work. We bought this to COAs (cover our.....) anyways, it does what it needs to do and we didn't get in trouble. I would call that a WIN.

I bought this for my get home bag. I really like the idea of being prepared in case I needed to leave my car for some reason. Luckily, I have not had to use this product yet, but I am sure that it would work. The sockets look like the right measurement and the key itself is very sturdy and feels like it's good quality. I definitely think this is a necessity in any urban get home bag/prepper bag.

Great item! Well made and literally fits all, anywhere. I normally have to carry & refill jugs of water to rinse the dirt off my dogs (6) before putting them back in their car seats in my Range Rover😳 .. never again! Really wish i thought of this years ago. Planning to put one in everyone’s Christmas stocking this year for sure!! Highly recommend. A+++++
