I got what I expected for a one year old pine. It was a grafted tree which wasn't stated in the description of the product, but I expected it would be. Now I just got to wait and do a lot of training to get the bonsai I want. I would order this tree again.

This is NOT the plant described!!!!
What I received was a grafted five needle pine. It is defiantly not a JBP and it is defiantly not a cork bark. I’ve been trying to post a review but I think my language has been too harsh(derserved) for Amazon to post review. I’m hoping this will stick and that Amazon will allow me to warn others to avoid this seller. If you go to their website you will see they are sold out of this item. Simply substituting any other grafted pine is unacceptable. I recommend NOT buying from this seller.

Terrible Customer Service.
Tree came alive and healthy BUT it has a big ugly splice half way up the trunk and is useless as a Bonsai. I tried contacting the company three times…NO response. Finally had to create a complaint. The trees from this company look lovely in photo’s. They are NOT!

Ugly graft
The graft is too high up along the trunk line. There would be no way for it to be hidden for it to be considered as “bonsai”.
