Hi! I barely write reviews, but I had to for this product. I’m a 28 year old in Southern California who has suffered from KP all over my body for most of my life. I did not know what it was called or how to treat kp until about a year ago. I purchased this as I was searching for a KP body wash and started to read the reviews. It made sense, and although $30, id pay almost anything to be free of this chicken skin. Just used this for the first time and oh. my. god. my skin feels so so so so good. skin visibly came off and even dirt that I feel was imbedded in my pores was scrubbed out. can’t wait to continue using this and see just how soft my embarrassing chicken skin can look and feel! buy this!

When it arrived I used it diligently every time I showered (2-3× a week). On the 4th or 5th time it sloughed off so much skin. The trick is to get the shower steamy, wet the mitt and your body a little and then scrub. Dont stand under the water while scrubbing because it needs some friction. 6th and 7th time it didnt slough off anything but I was satisfied because I did such thorough scrubbing before. Now I use this once every week or 2 and it sloughs off dead skin wonderfully. Dont expect to see dead skin every time you shower!The roughness of the mitt somewhat fades but it still works. Even then it's too rough for my sensitive face so I only use it on my body.

This exfoliating mitt works way better than I was expecting. I have keratosis pilaris on my arms and regular exfoliation helps smooth out my skin. After using this mitt only a few times so far, I can already feel a big difference in the smoothness of my skin. I use the mitt after I've been in the shower for a few minutes to soften the skin, I just make sure to step out of the water and shake the excess water off to make sure that there is good contact between the glove and skin surface.. After using the mitt, I can actually feel the dead skin cells before they get rinsed off. Maintenance of the mitt is easy, just rinse well after use and hang to dry. I don't think I could ever go back to a body scrub, the mitt is convenient and does such a good job getting the dead skin off without using a lot of effort to do it. I will definitely be purchasing more for replacements as needed over time.

I happened across the MicrodermaMitt while I was browsing for a new exfoliating cloth to replace an old one. The price seemed pretty steep for an exfoliating mitt, but the reviews were good, and I was in a "treat yo'self" mood that day, so figured I'd give it a shot.... Not going to lie, I was a bit disappointed when I opened it. It kind of looked like something I'd find in the $1 Deal bin, and it felt so smooth/non-abrasive that I really didn't think it was going to actually exfoliate my skin all that much. I figured I'd been duped out of 25 bucks and that was that.... Next time I went to shower, I almost grabbed my old exfoliating cloth, but decided to at least give the MicrodermaMitt a shot. And I still CANNOT believe how well this mitt worked. (Now, I want to preface this by saying that I religiously exfoliate, twice a week, every week. I've been through plenty of different exfoliating cloths, mitts, scrubs, etc.) I got in the warm shower, gave it a few minutes to soften up my skin, then turned off the water and got to scrubbing.At first, I really didn't think it was doing much. It didn't feel harsh, abrasive, or scratchy like most exfoliating mitts, and honestly, it felt like it was just kind of smoothly wiping over my skin. And then I ran my hand over my freshly-exfoliated stomach, and it was absolutely COVERED with little balls and rolls of removed dead skin (gross, I know).This mitt exfoliated me SO well that I had to stop and rinse myself and the mitt a couple times before I got completely done. And as someone who already frequently exfoliates, I couldn't believe there was THAT MUCH to remove!!!After drying off, and applying a light moisturizer, I still can't believe how smooth, silky, and fresh my skin is. Even though the MicrodermaMitt exfoliated so well, it was not harsh, at all. Usually I come out of the shower a bit red, blotchy, and dry after exfoliating. The MicrodermaMitt didn't leave me red or overly scrubbed at all, just smooth and fresh. In fact, it was so gentle that I even used it on my face immediately after stepping out of the shower.The generous size of the mitt makes it super fast to exfoliate all over, it easily rinsed clean, and the hanging loop is super convenient for storing out of the shower.I will definitely purchase this mitt over and over again, it is WELL worth the price!

I wanted a simple and fast way to exfoliate my skin so I decided to give this mitt a try. The mitt comes with detailed instructions for use. It’s simple and something you can do in the shower with just a few extra minutes. Get in a hot steamy shower for a few minutes. Use the exfoliating mitt before you wash with soap. Step to the side and use the mitt on any skin you want to exfoliate. Your skin should be damp but not in the full stream of the shower. Do not use any kind of soap on the mitt.It is suggested that you use this mitt 1 to 2 times a week. I have used this a few times since receiving and do notice a change to my skin after use. I am hoping with prolonged use I will no longer get the bumps and clogged pore on my legs. This has actually become a thing I look forward to every few days. I’m looking forward to smoother healthier skin. Try it!

Shocked to say, but this has drastically reduced my keratosis pilaris. I had a mild case but now I have barely a trace at all of it after less than two weeks of using it every couple days. Wish I’d found this years ago.

4-Stars: I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks, now. Bumps aren’t gone, but really good at removing dry winter skin. Moisturizing after is a must. I have been known to use my glycerine body gel with it, & i’m thinking that is my preferred method. Who knew silk floss could be so stiff?* UPDATE — 5-stars! I love this product. Stopped using gel w/it in summer & skin is super duper smooth. Everyone is getting this as a gift this year. Use it about 3x’s a week. Has gotten rid of my ‘white girl ashy-ness’ on my legs. Mind you, my skin was never smooth to begin with, but huge improvement to past attempts. Disappointed this can’t be machine washed.

Omg one of best mitt that really works to remove dead skin!! Bought one more right away. This is miracle product!!! But it people!!

Personally I find this a bit difficult to use but that doesn't mean everyone will. Seems a little expensive for what it does.
