Solid baking pan
This is a very solid, well-made half-sheet baking pan. It is nice and thick, does not warp or flex, and cooks quickly and evenly. It would be a solid five-star but it is sold on Amazon by the manufacturer who has adopted the unfortunate Amazon trend of drowning buyers in follow-up emails. FAQ's, recipes, review requests, pleas not to leave negative feedback, promotion of other products, mailing list offers... they're all here. Likewise, every single review of this product has one comment, from the manufacturer.Look, you guys make a great product, but it's a baking pan, not a Mercedes. It doesn't need that much follow-up.Other than that, this a great product well worth the money.(I do feel this reflects directly on the product since this behavior is being engaged in by the *manufacturer*; it's not like you could buy it from some other seller and avoid this issue.)

Too big for wall ovens
Just received. Haven't used it yet. Was mostly concerned about being able to fit a baking rack in it. I haven't received the rack yet, so unsure about that yet. BUT, just to warn other people that might be like me and think a half sheet can't possibly be huge. Well it might not be HUGE, but I have double wall ovens and this pan doesn't fit. On the upside my clever husband is able to trim the edge so that I can use it. So, just a warning, don't assume that this pan fits your oven!

While it is beautiful and an excellent conductor of heat
While it is beautiful and an excellent conductor of heat, it stained significantly after just two uses at 425 degrees, baking pizzas. Can't be polished off with brillo without scratching the heck out of it. Any kind of sharp edge will immediately cut it. It's a good bakepan but perhaps too fragile for day to day use. Maybe for the holidays and special occasions when you really need to conduct heat quickly and reliably. Plus the inability to use dish washer is annoying since I really like to sterilize my dishes after hand washing them. Also I am a little concerned about the reactivity of the aluminum itself, if two pizzas can discolor it I'm sure aluminum atoms are leaching into the food. It's definitely not anodized...Overall still a good product but perhaps too involved/finnicky for me, better cooks who don't mind hand washing might get more use from it. I think my next pan will be stainless steel, since it's more durable and is dishwasher friendly, even though it doesn't conduct as well.http://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Steel-Jelly-Roll-Sheet/dp/B001FSZIF8

After wasting money on new pans that rusted or warped quickly from Target and Kohl's I ordered several pans from Amazon and othe
Between recipe testing for Leite's Culinaria and a family with teenaged boys I cook and bake a lot and quite often for huge groups of people. I always seemed to not have enough pans and the ones I had were poorly made and too small. After wasting money on new pans that rusted or warped quickly from Target and Kohl's I ordered several pans from Amazon and other retailers - 7 total - hoping to find a least one good one. I ended up finding 2 I love. So what makes this pan different from the others you own? It is a combination of the heavier weight and design of the pan that make it perfect. When cooking at very high temperatures my old pans would warp, that will not happen with this pan. I bake my own hamburger rolls regularly and found they cooked more evenly on the bottoms than with my old pans. I also loved the Nordic Ware Natural Aluminum Commercial Baker's Half Sheet with Lid which I ordered from Amazon, it cost less and comes with a lid, but after washing both, I appreciate that the Island Ware pan does not have the rolled edge for rust to develop one day - probably a better investment in the long run.

will keep the pan, but I am unhappy with its initial appearance.
I think the pan is probably good quality, although I have yet to use it. I think what bothers me is the messy stamping of the company logo that shows through (partially) on the front of the pan.I would suggest to the seller that when someone shells out $30 for a baking sheet, they are doing so because they want quality cookware. The aesthetic aspect is not inconsequential. I would actually not mind the stamp showing through, if it did so intentionally and fully. It seems like they could easily do something about this. Everything else about the pan looks good; I especially like the fact that there is no curled under lip to catch water. It's just the stamp that puts a damper on its look as a part of my kitchen.I will keep the pan, but I am unhappy with its initial appearance.

I really do love it. It works every bit as well as ...
I bought this pan after reading about it somewhere. I roast lots of vegetables for my husband and myself - probably 4 times a week. I used to use a thick bottom roasting pan but have stopped using that after receiving this pan. I really do love it. It works every bit as well as my roasting pan but I think it cooks a little faster because the air can circulate around the vegetables easily. And best of all, it's easier for my husband to clean. Marital bliss! Can't ask for more than that. When I get a minute I'm planning on buying one for each of my daughters - let them start enjoying it 30 years earlier.I have since bought a couple more of these for gifts and another for myself (never did I think I would pay this much for a "cookie sheet".) But I love these things! I can roast two pans of vegetables quick as can be without the veggies steaming (instead of roasting) in my convention oven. They are just my favorite kitchen tool at the moment. And I have to admit, I haven't even tried cooking cookies on them yet!

the fit and finish is not good. The edges on mine need to be touched ...
I definitely appreciate the thickness of this pan, and I could see that they might resist the dreaded pan warp indefinitely (or at least for a very long time). But, the fit and finish is not good. The edges on mine need to be touched up with some sandpaper as they are somewhat (non-skin-breakingly) sharp in several areas, and the pan's bends at the edges show significant tooling marks which would not be easy to polish out. Plus, the stamping/etching on the backside of the pan shows through to the front. I know it doesn't really affect the use of this pan but for what I paid you'd think they could improve their manufacturing process a little bit.So, very functional, but not quite as pleasurable to hold and use as an iPhone or All-Clad pan might be. For twice the cost of a normal pan I'm not too impressed, but it's still a keeper.
