This is the second Rev-A-Shelf product review I'm writing today -- not because I have any affiliation with the company (I don't, and indeed had never heard of them prior to my recent purchases), but because I'm that pleased with the products. This one in particular solved for me what had been an extreme annoyance: my closet unit is cramped and only 12" deep, and I have a ton of ties that I need to access on a near-daily basis.Enter this thing. Once installed (a quick and easy process, as this comes with Euro-type system screws and wood screws to use if your holes don't line up), this fits securely (no wobble) against the side of my closet. When pushed in, the front panel, (which is matte black) is flush with the front of my closet. It's very easy to pull out, and the excellent quality is evident when you do. If anything, the smooth glide gives it a "high end" feel that belies how inexpensive it actually was. Best of all, it works exactly as I hoped. It holds 23 ties (which for me meant that I am using more than one of these), with just enough room to see and use them. If I had unlimited space, I no doubt would want a bit more space between the ties, but my priority was maximizing my storage without compromising usability. For that, this item is spot-on perfect.

I used to use tie hangers that look like clothes hangers with hooks. While it was a good solution for the short term, I always wanted to have something permanent.I ordered this when it was on sale and am very happy with the purchase.It took less than 10 minutes for me to install it. If you are familiar with the electric drill, it would take only a few minutes to complete the installation as there are only two screws to deal with. The instructions do not say to use an electric one but if there are no holes on the wall, I think it is easier that way. If there are holes already, the screws for that purpose are included in the package.If I need more of these in my closet in the future, I would not hesitate to choose this product.

Love the look, ease of installation and smooth mechanism and for this it deserves 5 stars. However, the ends of the metal pegs are slightly rough (a finishing or chrome plating issue probably) and grabs my ties, causing threads to pull. That’s a problem for expensive neckties.

Quality product just as described. High quality when compared to other brands.

Made in USA. Heavy duty. Cheaper options out there, but this is very well made and looks great. Gives an added sense of luxury to a closet.
