Surprisingly good
So I am a bit of a coffee snob, let me start with that. I bought this as I was looking for a cheaper alternative to my usual coffee, you know, trying to save a buck. Well, I gotta say, I really like this stuff. You get a little dark chocolate and cherry on the nose and taste, along with an almost smoky undertone. Only reason I didn't give 5 starts was because while the flavor is very good, I wish it was a little more bold. It's a kind of mild flavor that builds as you drink the cup. Not bad, by any means, but I like bold. Not bitter, not acidic, (I brew strong, and see real acidic ones give me heartburn, this one did not), very smooth flavor profile. And for the price (a little more than half what I was paying) I think this is my go-to bean.

Great coffee! Great price!
I decided to try this coffee for home cold brewed coffee. It is delicious and I am a coffee lower! I used a different brand that came prepackaged and after finding one of the packs with the coffee had a huge hole in - I had to throw it out due to this because the bag was the actual filter holding the cold brew coffee, I decided it was an expensive waste. Due to this, I searched for alternatives because I didn’t want to be left without coffee if more were to have holes in them in the future. So, I purchased a home brew coffee pitcher and this coffee! I am very happy with it my decision. Greatest cold coffee! Saves me money going on coffee runs for my cold coffee!

Great coffee (Colombian)
Imagine buying coffee and then not brewing it correctly and then writing a bad review for the coffee! I’ve been drinking coffee for 35 years, trying literally hundreds of blends, single origins, etc. This whole bean from Amazon is really good. Are the beans labelled with origin source? Not from what I can find. Who cares? It’s great coffee. If you get a bag you dont really care for, try a different one! The colombian tastes amazing. Negative reviews mention an odd taste. Thats called great coffee flavor, something most coffee is missing! ;)

Stuck up coffee b****
My favorite coffee is Eight o'clock whole bean original, but it's getting ridiculous to buy and hard to find. So this came up when searching and thought I'd give it a try, while it's not my favorite it has good flavor smells good and is fresh. I made it just how I make my 8oclock so I might just need to tweak it some but overall it's good. Will definitely purchase again

Pretty Good Coffee, Great Price
Like a lot of other reviewers, my usual coffee had just gotten too expensive, so I decided to give Amazon a try. I bought the Columbia and the Donut Shop varieties. Both are pretty good. Not the best coffee I've ever had, but good flavor, especially considering the price. I think both taste better than Whole Foods 365 coffee (but not better than Whole Food's Allegro line), Target's in house brand, and Trader Joe's basic whole bean coffee.Like some others noted, it appears the roasting is inconsistent. The donut shop description indicates it's a medium-light roast and the Columbia is a medium roast, but the bag of donut shop I received was darker than the Columbia. If you're particular about your roast, this may not be the coffee for you. However, it's not a deal breaker for me, so I plan on purchasing again.

Perfectly adequate for the price.
Is it fresh? Does it taste good? Is it high quality with consistent bean size, roast, etc.? Do you really expect it to be? No way. But it is pretty adequate for the price and has plenty of alkaloids like 1,3,7-trimethylxanthine, i.e. caffeine. It doesn't taste foul, just very unexceptional and kind of stale. The pre-ground espresso beans in a supermarket are far better quality so I might go back to that. I'm still giving it a decent rating because it's exactly what you'd expect from the website brand, lol.

An Average Tasting Coffee
Columbian used to have that "punch" when you first open the can or bag. Not this. Kona Hawaiian coffee is still the best coffee on the planet, but you will pay 30 dollars for a bag of the 100% pure stuff. When I saw Amazon was selling its own brand of Columbian coffee, the expectations were very high. After all, this is their signature label. Honestly, it's a little weak in flavor, and tastes like it has been sitting in an Amazon warehouse somewhere for a year or more. Aging coffee kills coffee. Time is not coffee's friend. Coffee experts will tell you to only brew what you are going to immediately use, because you have about a half hour after grinding whole beans and brewing them until the coffee flavor starts going over the falls in a big way. This whole bean Columbian private label is no exception. There is no difference in the ground and fresh brewed Amazon Columbian than any other supermarket regular coffee. Yes it is Arabica. So is everybody else nowadays. The price is not bad, but Walmart sells its ground coffee in cans for about half this price, but again, I only brew Walmart coffee when all other options fail me.So, bottom line ... want average tasting, stale coffee ... but still with the added labor of grinding the beans? Do you want a supermarket tasting coffee brand that is twice the price of your local ground private store brand? But, with no difference in flavor? THIS is the coffee for you. You can still brag Columbian coffee at your house to your friends, but you and I know you are drinking diner coffee.
