Top taste and inexpensive!
Rich matcha flavour, without the price tag. I use it daily for matcha frappes (crushed ice, Kineta matcha, stevia and milk in a blender) which are wonderfully refreshing and low caffeine (because the matcha is not boiled). But I also make hot tea with it to accompany a meal or matcha cakes with sweet bean filling. Good sprinkled on ice cream, too, or added to a veggie smoothie. Strongly recommended!

Healthy
Green tea has a long tradition of healthy benefits. This is easily added to a smoothly and is not too overpowering as long as you don’t add too much.It is only 100g so is far too expensive.

Delicious and good for you
The flavour of this cooking matcha is great and it’s good to know that it’s good for you too. It says it is versatile for lots of receptors but to preserve the nutritional value I prefer to have it raw added to smoothies. It is especially delicious as a coating for raw food energy balls and adds a nice green colour to make them look attractive.

Delicious!
I'm quite a fan of Matcha, having been introduced to it a few years ago at a Japanese tea ceremony. Back then it was unavailable here in the UK, and had to be imported directly from Japan. Thankfully things have now changed, and it has gone mainstream. Unlike the ceremony grade Matcha that I drank back then, this is culinary grade, and intended for use in cooking. And for that purpose, it's excellent.Matcha is used to flavour all manner of foods in Japan, and for good reason - it's delicious! I use it in baking, sprinkled over ice cream, and in porridge. Imagination is the only limit to experimentation really. This Matcha is lovely and fresh tasting, and comes finely powdered - better than some other, more course versions I've encountered. The pouch can be re-sealed, and should be kept in the fridge once opened.Five stars from me!

An excellent quality product, that made tasty cupcakes.
I was excited to try this 'Kineta Professional Cooking Matcha | Bake, Blend, Sprinkle | Smoothies, Granola, Cakes, Ice Cream | 100g'. I love trying new ingredients in my cooking and have not used Matcha before.1. You get a tear open, resealable pouch with 100g of 'professional cooking matcha' powder.2. The powder is very fine and a lovely vibrant pistachio green colour. I would say it looks an excellent quality product.3. The smell is 'planty,' with a mild tea aroma.4. I tasted some of the powder and it was very unusual - I haven't tasted anything like it before. It is has a vegetable like base taste, with slightly musty, slightly bitter and peppery flavours coming out.5. On the packet it states that it is Japanese match green tea with no artificial additives, 0% sugar and Vegan friendly. It says that the tea will give you better energy, I presume that is because matcha has a caffeine content.6. I know you can use matcha in a lot of cooking but I tried it first in some cupcakes. I made a 4oz all in one mix and added a level tablespoon of the matcha. It was a lovely green batter - the matcha mixed in perfectly.7. The resulting cupcakes were a nice green colour inside and the texture was not changed by the addition of the powder.8. I put a swirl of squirty cream on the cakes as we ate them. An internet recipe suggested that was a good way to serve them. Apparently they taste like a matcha green tea frappuccino from a coffee shop - I have never tried one but the cakes taste great.9. I will try some savoury recipes as well as other sweet dishes but I am sure most will go to make these cupcakes.10. The best before date on my packet is 05/04/21.In summary - an excellent quality product, that made tasty cupcakes. The price of £12.95 for 100g seems to be in line with similar products, so is fair in my opinion.

Strong taste of green tea
I have used in on my bread baking. Added 10g of green tea powder into a 375g flour bread dough turned out to be quite sufficient. The taste of green tea is significant especially when the bread is toasted. I will try in on cake making too. This green tea powder is great for green tea lover as it has a strong taste. I personally finds it very nice but I will reduce the amount slightly as to cater the little ones in the family who don't fancy a strong green tea flavoured bread.

nice flavour
After making overnight matcha oats I can say this is not a ceremonial grade as the culinary grade is at the opposite scale. It is a bit lighter and works well for cooking. You don’t always want all the full-on matcha flavour, you want it to be more subtle and green. But this one still give good flavour…. I cannot wait to make some flapjacks and matcha and almonds.

Five stars
For the price this stuff is great! I've tried a few different brands of Matcha powder but this is probably my favorite! It tastes fresh.
