Kitopia’s Plastic Cutting Board Set. 3 Antibacterial Chopping Boards That Sterilize in 60 Seconds

I have had mine for 9 months & have only microwaved them a few times. Generally I hand wash them, but do occasionally put them in the dishwasher. I cannot get them to sit flat on the counter. Chopping nuts really doesn't work now. I push the mat flat, start to chop or slice & it pops up off the counter. slicing blueberries is like a bad comedy. I think that any flexible mat will warp, how can it not...especially when you roll it up to microwave it & subject it to hot water in the dishwasher, then the heat dry. It was disappointing that though it says that it is guaranteed, Amazon only gave me from Nov 2015 to Jan 2016 to return it. So It didn't feel like much of a guarantee

I am so disappointed with this item. They got grooves from cutting on them almost immediately. I am afraid they are not getting clean enough because of this. If I roll the board to store it, it does not flatten and stays rounded. The bumps on the backside are really hard to clean. They trap food and dirt. I have owned them less than 6 months and already I need to replace them. I was skeptical about this product in the first place, but the great reviews fooled me into buying them. They are very unimpressive and I need to buy new boards now.

I really like these. I love that you can put them in the microwave and sterilize them in 60 seconds. I worry about some of my other plastic cutting pads; when I see the scratches in them from knives I wonder if bacteria is lurking there. I don't worry about that with these because I can just zap the germs in my microwave.I also like that you can roll them up to do this, so they go around easily as the microwave dish turns.The rougher backing helps hold them in place, and they're marked so that you can remember which one is for meat, chicken, or vegetables. Time will tell whether or not I keep using the "correct" one, but with the ability to easily sterilize them, I'm not really that concerned.

I bought this product last April. I was very happy with the board until one day, one of the boards caught fire in the microwave oven. I am an OCD and had followed the instructions and read the tips to keep these mats clean, but, it still caught fire, burning my microwave oven as well. When I contacted Kitopia, Christine Cutter wrote she thought "the boards did not have to do anything with the incident" and that I had already been replenished, which I had, NOT because of this incident but because the first time I bought the boards I never got them. I explained this to Ms. Cutter in another email; she replied saying they only saw one purchase in Amazon. Of course, they could only see one! The second purchase she wants to see was actually a "resend" of the same object! Once again, I emailed Ms. Cutter saying this. To date, Ive gotten no reply. So, I called Amazon and am getting a refund. Amazon customer service representatives have been great in finding a solution both times I have called them. I am still happy with the other three boards, which I will not put in my NEW microwave oven, for, I am positive that the first mat caught fire by itself. There was absolutely no problem with my previous oven. In sum, they are ok but do not put them in the microwave if you do not want to end up losing one board...and probably your oven as well.

Just used for the first time today, but this looks to be a great product. I found the cardboard packaging so attractive that I have to comment on it; almost didn't want to throw it away! I posted a pic here, because it gives more info. than is even listed on Amazon.I was wondering if this polypropylene would be hard on my expensive kitchen knives (most plastic cutting boards seem to be polyethylene), but I found a top rated name-brand board made with the same material, so I decided to chance this newbie. Very pleased to see that the packaging claims that this product is knife-friendly. I have also had flexible thin cutting boards before, but they were brittle; Kitopia's boards don't look like they will ever crack. Plus the antibac. feature is great. I looked up phytoncide; it is a product that some trees and plants create naturally to resist bacteria. I look forward to putting these to the test!

LOVE THEM!!!! What is there not to like? I have bought and used all different cutting boards, bamboo, glass, plastic and various other woods...they can NOT compare. I have very sharp knives and so far, haven't seen any cut marks. They clean so easily and I love it that I have that extra piece of mid that I can sanitize them with the dishwasher and the microwave. They are also BPA free! I also like the fact that they are so flexible...can chop your veggies and bend the board by each end and can just slip those veggies right inside the bowl or cooking pot...easy peasy! Also with three, if one has been used and you don't want to use the same board, you don't have to wait and wash it, grab another one and continue on to what you were doing...wash can be done when it is convenient for you!Also the free website that comes with your purchase offers much more than I ever expected. You can buy these with the knowledge these are safe for you and your family while offering you some flexibility and ease. Enjoy!

I really like these cutting boards. They have a little lip around the edge so juices don't run all over my counter. They are easy to clean and store. They stay in place when cutting as they have little nubs on the back to help it stay in place. They also don't leave knife marks in the surface, which always made me wonder how clean I was getting my old cutting board mats that had knife marks all over them. (were they really getting clean down into the knife marks?) They fold up to easily to dump what you've cut up into your recipe. I just wash these and dry them and put them in the microwave to sanitze them.

I wanted to love these, but I don't like that there are holes on either side of the board (one easily visible hole in one of the corners, where you can hold and hang the board; and one on the opposite side under the little tab-like piece. I don't understand the functionality of the latter hole. This makes it easy for any juicy thing you're cutting to leak liquid onto your counter, which is definitely not what you want if you're cutting something like raw chicken!

These chopping boards are brill. I have had them for over 6 months and they look new except from on that has a small spot of discolouration on the back. Not noticed until washing them up.I have very sharp professional knives and they aren't as cut up as my old boards. I have tried a variety and prefer these over my old wooden boards that took ages to scrub and dry and would have chunks missing.I am more confident in the hygiene of these boards as they aren't cut up badly even after daily use.The colour coding and symbols are great for preventing contamination in the kitchen however I wish there wash a slight smaller additional board for fruit. I use the veg board daily and the flexible aspect is so useful for pouring chopped up bits into pans without it going everywhere.I would definitely recommend these boards to anyone who loves cooking and plans to use their boards a lot.

These were a birthday present and she loves them all! Especially the cleaning and microwave clean! Arrived in very nice cardboard envelope and on good time. Very good prices for 3 of them and would recommend.

I bought these in March 2016. I cook a lot, with professional knives. My boards still look as new and haven't stained - despite being an avid Turmeric user. My only complaint..... they are out of stock and I want to replace all my old heavy boards with these ones.

Love these mats. Easy to use, wash and store. They're lightweight and bendy so you can put what you've chopped easily into a pan or bowl. They're non slip on my shiny work surface and self healing so don't have unsightly and unhygienic knife marks. Wish I'd had these years ago. Worth the expense.
