JemisSkullies Beanies Thin Bonnet Cap Autumn Casual Beanies Hat

I purchased the Jemis velvet lined Autumn casual 2 hat combo (16 bucks at the time, Prime) from Kayier Trade Limited. The velvet does NOT line the whole inside, but does most of it (as reflected in the advert pics). I have just ordered my second set of the same hat (no velvet this time) so I can have a matching scarf and hat combo (no real reason, but because I can! LOL) and so I can try out the hats without velvet. I have worn the velvet both closed and with my long hair sticking through the hole to see the different effects. My two teenage boys said they are very beanie and very me. Not sure if that is good or bad LOL. I wear them all of the time but the weather is getting warmer (upper 60s) so they (the velvet) are now getting a little too warm. But, I heat up easily and this is a personal opinion, not a fact for everyone. But they (the velvet) are comfortable to be sure.Look at the advert pictures. It can be worn as a choker scarf and can be worn as a beanie. You can have your (medium/long) hair hang out the back hole or not. The hat has a TWISTED sewed shape to it so that when the hat it put on, the whole in the back closes nicely (no gaping hole). I make sure to hold the edge with the velvet and give it a good shake before putting on, this seems to guarantee a closed top whole for me. I wear it slouched for that baggy back effect, which I think may help with the top closure. I have not worn it in freezing weather but seems to work very well in upper thirties fahrenheit.I was highly skeptical of the beanies due to the double opening. I am so very happy to say, it is not an issue. Others have complained of the hat untwisting after washing so the top no longer closes. I am washing my first one today and will update only if there are issues. If there are issues, it should not be hard to resew the seam to make it twistie again, but again, I will update if this is an issue.I want to order even more of the Jemis hats, but this was the only pattern that fit my fru-fru style both as a velvet or just the regular cloth ones. Most of the others are more geodesic in design (think like Native-American block type patterns... or go look for yourselves!). Jemis also advertises their beanies for cancer patients so you might need to look around for one you like. I am not a cancer patient and have very long hair. They are the exact same beanies with the double open ends. I found more velvet lined ones doing that, but many of those were a little manly (in other words, not fru-fru). But they did look good. I may revisit those in the future.I have not found any of the negative issues mentioned by others, yet. Sewing and lining are good, the 2nd hole closes well, I can fit it around my neck (and get it over my head), they do not seem to run small (for a woman). I am very happy with this purchase. I will update as needed.

I was unaware of the hole at the top, as the description didn't mention it. At first I was upset, then after I put it on, I realized the hole doesn't show. It's important to have the right weight beanie for me because I have a scalp and head injury. This beanie is perfect, lightweight and very comfortable. I'm giving this seller 3 stars because they need to represent their product the way it is. As it stands, the description is misleading.

While these are cute and the fabric is soft, they are not a closed in hat like you would think a beanie would be. These are a single piece of fabric sewn together - a tube if you will. You can wear it as a hat or a bandanna or a sweat rag around your neck.

Just had my head shaved! These are perfect for work right now ;) They also are designed with a hole in the top which means you can also use them as a neck wrap or allows for pulling a ponytail through the top.

I really like the retro styled pattern on it! It's soft! Absolutely great quality! I've purchased 3 of them with different patterns. Didn't disappoint me. Recommended

My hair is getting long since I'm not going to the hairdresser due to the pandemic. It's constantly getting in my face, plus I'm finding hair everywhere. When I saw a hair in something I was cooking, I had to fix this problem! I've tried head bands, rubber bands, barrettes, big clips, but still had whisps of hair coming loose. These are perfect for solving that problem. Very comfortable, they keep hair completely off my face and out of my kitchen. They are light, cute and stay in place. I haven't washed them yet, but for my purposes, even tho it becomes an opening and not sewn shut as other reviewers have mentioned, I think they will still be effective for my purposes.

Very soft and comfortable! The image and description are a bit misleading...this isn't a traditional beanie cap. It's a tube, which is good if you want to accommodate a ponytail, but it leaves a scrunched area at the back of your head if not wearing a ponytail or bun...and a way for hair to escape or cold air to enter. It's also long, so 3-6 inches need to be folded up, depending on head size and desired look. Not sure how I feel about this and I wish the description had mentioned the hole.

I love everything about this hat! Just the right amount of warmth for 30° weather when you are being active. And really cute. I’m going to buy some more in different colors. It’s really comfortable not too tight. I bought the one with the velvet lining and it is Very soft..

Very cure, soft and comfortable. I bought to cover up my bald head after surgery, but will probably wear them in the future as well. Even my daughters thought they were attractive! Oh yes, I should mention I've got a biggish sort of head, and these were not tight at all.

The material is very soft, great fit due to elastic good quality. Wore on my morning walk - kept the wind off my ears and no sweaty head. They are a really good buy.

These beanies are the best. They are cute, fit well and so pretty. First time I wore it I saw my neighbor and she said how nice it was.
