Work Good
I ordered the 2-pack ACSCTG Type 1 remote.I am reading the reviews and kinda worry that the remote will not work or I cannot get a refund. Take a chance to order the 2-pack. They shipped the remotes from New Jersey. The remotes come in a plastic bag inside one of those yellow shipping envelope with air bubbles inside. I try to put a battery in but it turns out the remote is in one piece and already has a built-in battery. I cannot open the battery compartment. Although the remote looks like there is a battery compartment. It is not. They just copy the style to look like the OEM. This remote looks like the OEM but it is actually smaller in size. I have some pictures. It comes with the instruction. I pair the 2 remotes with my 20+ year-old garage opener. They work. The range is good. I can open the door 50+ feet away. I don't know what type of battery they soldered in the remote or how long the battery will last. The 12v battery in the OEM outlasted the OEM itself for me.5 stars for now. Hope the battery will last for years.

Very convenient
Couldn't find my old remote, found these on Amazon. They worked with my old garage door system.

A worthy non-OEM remote.
As the reviews were mixed on how easy these were to program I as a bit apprehensive. However, once programmed, they work great. The push button seems more substantial than the OEM Overhead Door openers. Firmer would be a good descriptor. Programming was probably not as easy as it could be however I feel that is more an Overhead Door opener design matter and not so much a dig on these aftermarket remotes. I did find however that my ten year old Overhead Door Estate opener can only handle five total remote devices programmed to it.

Affordable and Works Great!
At first it took me a bit to figure out how to program it. Where was the button I needed to push to sync the remote to my Genie system? I googled it and found the answer on their website. The button was way up on the unit on the ceiling of my garage. I used a ladder to get up there and search for the button. Once I pressed it, it flashed 3 times, I think, and I pressed the button on my new remote to sync and close my garage door. I proceeded to do the same process with the second remote, it worked as well. I’m so happy I didn’t have to replace the Genie opener, as it works fine. I just had no working remote. Thank you!!
