Good arch and side support.
I've tried many other jazz shoes with laces, and this is the only one with side support. I don't like black dance shoes but had to buy this one because of that. I wish they came in white, beige, or red.

My dancing shoes
These shoes are fantastic. They helped to bring my Zumba workout to a new level. I now can spin without hurting my knees. These shoes help to give me more freedom if movement. I bought a half size larger than I normally wear and that was fine. I am experiencing a “breaking in” period but it’s not too bad. It will get better as the shoes stretch out a bit. Overall I’m glad I made this purchase.

There's a lot good and a little not so good.
I just danced in them for the first time and I'm not sure if I should keep them or return them. Here are the points:Good toe pivot.Good heel pivot.Decent grip even with pivot so you can hold your place in various postions without sliding.Moderate to poor glide. It's okay, but doesn't hold a candle to the glide on the old capezio jazz shoes.High arch support which I like because of a history of ballet and pointe which distorts your foot shape a bit, but some might feel it's too high.I purchased a half size up reading reviews about them running small. They fit lengthwise, but they're too narrow. Not causing extreme pain, but it does cause some discomfort and tingling in my smaller toes.Don't love the "support" at the ankle. It's supportive but bulky. It's just okay. This is probably a little picky but I don't like the rounded laces. It makes them hard to tie and tighten, but it can be done with a little extra pull.Lastly, they are not pretty but that doesn't matter much to me.In the end, it was a pretty good dance. All in all I'd give them about an 80%. I've been trying several brands of dance shoes and dance sneakers and this one is among the highest.Still looking for that perfect pair.

Capezio is more narrow than Bloch
We got both Capezio and Bloch dance shoes.Capezio shape is more refined and less bulky than Bloch,Capezio arch is more curved and body-hugging than Bloch.Capezio ball is almost as smooth as Bloch for effortless turnsCapezio Sizing length is same as street shoe but the WIDTH across ball of foot was too narrow! Conclusion: We are keeping the more comfortable Bloch with wider foot bed, even though the Capezio overall shape was more elegant.

Great for Zumba, but they run 1.5-2 sizes too small
These shoes are good for Zumba. I ordered up a half to full size, but they were still too small. I sent them back and ordered up another size. Hopefully this time they'll be good.

Easy-Breezy Teturn
Based on this shoe’s reviews, I ordered a half size larger. The shoes were delivered very promptly. I still had to go up another half size and the return was very easy. Another pair was sent to me promptly, and my return was acknowledged speedily. Very fine service!

Great for Zumba!
I needed a dance sneaker that would allow me to move correctly on a wooden floor during my Zumba class. My Nike Musique IV shoes were just a bit too "grippy", and I noticed many of my classmates had the Capezio Rockits. After reading all the Rockit reviews, as well as the reviews for several other styles and brands of dance sneakers, I decided to go ahead and order the Rockits. I'm glad I did, because this style works much better for me. The soles are more slippery, which is what I need to do the moves and steps right; but not so slippery that I am afraid I'll fall, and the split sole is much better for moves that require you to be on your toes or heels. There are two reasons I didn't give this style five stars: 1) I was warned by some of my classmates that they tend to run narrow, and I would have to agree. I have an average width foot, wear size 8 normally, and I did order up a half size as advised in many of the reviews. The length is fine, but by the end of my hour long class my little toes feel cramped; it might be because they hit right where there is a seam. (One of my classmates Rockits are actually coming apart in the exact same place, and she says she knows several other of our classmates have had the same issue). I don't wear socks with them either. 2) Why does it have to have so much padding on the tongue and upper portion? It is nice & comfy, but I just don't see the reason for it...it makes the shoe bulky, and I don't think its necessary.Overall, I'm very happy with this shoe. The price was reasonable, and I feel like I can move better and get the benefit of the exercise, and I do like the way they look except for that thick tongue!

3rd time wearing them only had 2 zumba classes in them
The media could not be loaded. Gutted just went to put them on for zumba and wondered why they felt funny. Literally wore them twice before now

Sizing Problem
I have been wearing a Capezio dance sneaker (different model) for Zumba and simply love it. So when that pair of shoe got worn out, I sought to buy another. I knew about Capezio's sizing being smaller and was wearing a size bigger than my usual size and it fitted fine. I ordered the same size with the current order (Rockit) but unfortunately it was a bit tight. But I persevere thinking that it will loosen but I have given up after about 10 times. The problem was with the shoe being a bit narrow and I have a slightly wider foot and it edges towards a C width which buying a size bigger seemed to fit well in my previous dance sneaker. It turned out to be very painful halfway through my Zumba sessions and I suffered from bruised/compressed toes. Furthermore, compared to the previous dance sneaker, this shoe's soles are harder and do not absorb shock as well. I am very disappointed.
