I ordered (and returned) 3 separate other bulbs that were listed, described and pictured as this one is, and every time, I received the wrong bulb (2 were 15W and 1 was a 40W - way off). Finally, this listing was correct. This is indeed a 10W bulb with E12 candelabra base, as shown and described/listed. It will likely fit your GE dryer (I have one but not my reason for purchasing this bulb). I actually used this as a replacement for my 20 year old Singer sewing machine, which is no longer made, and subsequently, replacement parts are no longer made either. It absolutely cannot handle anything higher than a 10W bulb. Hoping this bulb lasts 20 years like the original bulb, but glad I have a backup just in case - this comes with 2 bulbs. For some reason 10 Watt 120-volt dryer bulbs are difficult to find. There was nothing locally at Walmart, ACE, Kroger, or Lowes. I went to all 4 locations in my area in one afternoon because my wife said she needed it NOW since the bulb was not working anymore. Thankfully Amazon came through and I received the bulb 2 days later. Two of the bulbs come in 1 package. Though pictured as a flathead screw in the dryer manual, this is actually a 1/4 inch hex. So, I unscrewed the screw, took off the cover, pulled the bulb, and replaced all in reverse order. The original bulb in our Kenmore Dryer lasted about 10 years. Hopefully, the spare replacement bulb will be good until the new one in the dryer dies. If this replacement lasts that long, I would say it was more than a 5-Star purchase.

Literally tried the Home Depot, Lowes and Walmart near me and none of them had this particular bulb. Ordered this pair off amazon and it works fine. Wish I could have just bought one, but at this point at least I'll have a spare.

After trying several local stores to find a replacement bulb for our dryer, I was grateful to see it available on Amazon; it works perfectly, plus it was a two pack, so I have a backup if needed. The order arrived in a timely fashion, just in time for the next loads for the dryer.

I can't really speak to the longevity of these light bulbs since this is my first time ordering them. But I will say one thing, this is the first time I'm having to replace the light bulb in my Maytag dryer since I purchased it in 1996! So this light bulb has a hard act to follow. Kudos to Maytag for making such a quality dryer. And thank you Amazon for carrying these replacement light bulbs that fit my dryer. I am so appreciative!!

I wanted to switch up to an LED but my wife wanted to stick with the old school light in our dryer. So I ordered this two pack of bulbs. Installed one — it was easy but you do need long arms and a flashlight to see what you’re doing. Works great.

It's a 10 watt light bulb. Bright enough for what I'm using it for (replacement for a blown bulb in our clothes dryer). Candelabra base, so make sure you don't need one with a differently sized base on it. Came well packaged, individually boxed with some bubble wrap around them. Does what I need it to do, and the price was right.
