I love love love it!I have a Montessori themed home, which means I’m raising my daughter with the Montessori teaching so I automatically loved that it’s all wooden and after based paint. The instruments cane in a white box and in their own small bag. Including a bag to put them all in i love it! I’ll be using one at time placing it on her shelf and rotating it but i can already tell that she loves it. I love it too. My husband and I were playing for a good 30 minutes with her. Oh by the way she’s 10m and I approve. Obviously under parents supervision. Always supervise your little one. But I love this I got the Melissa and Doug and returned it because I didn’t like the quality this was so much better worth the extra 10$.

This is a nice set. Lots of options for the kids to "make music" loud and funny. The different instruments and percussion item give way to their creativity. It comes nicely packed and it is easy to organize in the included bag.The only watch out I would like to highlight is that if you have really small kids around (I have a 8 months old) it is better to keep some of the parts away just so they do not hurt themselves -the sticks for the triangle and for xylophone, for example). But for my 2 years is more than OK.The only reason I do not give 5 stars is because 1) the xylophone is not the best quality, it gives a nasty sound, out of tune, not resembling a music instrument. I am not being picky here, I know it is for kids, but I have seen much better toy xylophones out there - just a constructive feedback for the makers to improve the quality; 2) the bag could be a notch bigger and/or have a velcro to close. It is an open plastic bag that makes it easy for the toys to fall out of it.But I do recommend it - it is a nice set and a great gift idea, with a good value for money.

My son loves this! We had purchased another set before, but several of the peices broke within a few days of use. We have been using this pretty much every day, my 8 month old puts it in his mouth (after lots of cleaning) so I'm glad that the images are painted on, and not just paper. My older son is pretty hard on things, but the xylophone and tambourine are still in good condition (those are usually the first to go). I like the carying bag because its large enough that all the instruments go back in easily, and I dont have to play an epic game of tetris to try to fit them all in together.

While very cute this item is a serious choking Harvard for young children. It states 1-3 my baby is 15 months a likes to chew on most items. This is her second day playing with this set and it already has a broken piece as pictured. Thank god I watch my baby closely because this poses SERIOUS CHOCKING HAZARD. if you children like to chew on things I’d suggest removing v the smaller items from this set.

My 3-yr old was blowing on one of the whistles in this pack of instruments, and a part (see photo) broke off in her mouth, and she choked. DO NOT USE THE WHISTLES!

We opened these instruments a couple of days ago on Mother's Day, and my 2-year old and 5-year old girls immediately took to them and played with them all day. They keep all of us entertained as we all play with them. There are more than enough instruments for my Mom, sister, and I to play along with the girls, forming our own little band. :o) I love the safe materials the instruments are made of. The instruments are sturdy and can withstand toddler play, except that one of the ears came off one of the whistles, hence the deduction of a star. The whistles do make a really cute sound, though, not one of those annoying whistles. So glad the package came with 2 whistles, one for each of our girls. I also really like the storage bag that came with this set, making transporting the instruments back and forth to Grandma's house a breeze. Really great price for all that you get. Overall really cute and fun instruments!

Why do they have babies in the pics with these toys!? Seriously choke hazard. Please read carefully. These toys are for kids 3 and up!!! The whistle has two buttons on top and one of them came lose and my 1.5 year old almost choked on it. Had I not been right there watching her, it would’ve been a terrible accident.Buyer beware!!!

Our two year old loves these! The two items with bells are her favorite and we have gotten our money’s worth out of those 2 alone. She gives everybody in our family instruments and we all have to run around our kitchen island Playing them. Lots of fun! The storage bag for this is great. We are constantly reminding our 2 year old to pick up and having the bag helps a lot!
