Deliciously Hot Erotica for Every Taste!
Chemical [se]X is a scrumptious collection of wicked delights with something for just about every prurient taste. You may be tempted to gobble the whole thing in one sitting for the ultimate erotic high, but I found myself savoring it one or two luscious bites at a time.Just like a box of chocolates, I had my favorites. Both of Oleander Plume's offerings make the top of the list. The first story, "Chemical (se)X," for which the anthology is named and the inspiration for the rest of the stories, is a brilliantly naughty story about two scientists tasked with developing a line of sexy chocolates using a powerful aphrodisiac discovered is the Brazilian rainforest. Jane and Wyatt's experimentation has some very pleasurable results.Plume's other story, "Coffee Break," is an erotic tour de force laced with her trademark spicy wit. While installing wainscoting in the mayor's house, Ryan and Zak unknowingly eat some of the sexy chocolate and are soon hammering each other. But things really get interesting when the mayor gets home."The Connection" by Jade A. Waters is a hot and sweet story of a wife using the chocolates to revive her sex life with her husband."The Dinner Guest" by Tabitha Rayne is a decadent tale of a woman reunited with her old friend, Jasper, over dinner with her current lover, Luca. Little does she know what they have planned for her.In "Chocolate Covered" by F. Leonora Solomon, Lotte takes a temp job at a candy company, but things get deliciously sticky when her handsome, but demanding, boss accidentally samples the sexy line of chocolates.Things really heat up in "The Commute" by C. E. Hansen when Carly's best friend gives her some chocolate to overcome her lethargy, so she can show her boyfriend a good time."Dinner for Three" by L. Maretta is a scorching story about a wife trying to make a good impression on her husband's boss by preparing the perfect dinner. When she accidentally uses the sexy chocolate for her dessert, she gives them a wild night they won't soon forget. In "Friendly Neighborhood Drug Dealer" by Ella Dawson, Steph pays a visit to Aaron to score some pot after finishing her exams, but winds up helping him test his latest edible product."The Stranger" by Tamsin Flowers is a sizzling story about a virile stranger who comes to town bearing sinful chocolates to tempt the ladies. There are other delicious morsels by Dario Dalla Lasta, Malin James, Jacob Louder, Exhibit A, and Annabeth Leong that will surely appeal to many erotica connoisseurs, so get Chemical [se]X and delve into the rich, chocolaty love.

Calories be damned - Pass the Chocolate.
What an incredible concept. Chocolate, which we already equate with the wonderful feelings similar to sex, and sex itself. But not quite in the way that it's ever been imagined before. When I first read Oleander's title story "Chemical [se]X", I was floored, to say the least. And turned on. And amazed. And turned on. And hot. And ... well, you get the gist. I gotta tell you, in those opening paragraphs, I feel for Jane. I don't know one woman who hasn't had one of those mornings. Which made it all the better when she finally gets her mouth on one of those chocolates - her "reward" for the s*** day in her personal history. My mouth simply watered at the concept and the thought of getting my hands - and lips - on just one of these imagined treats. But it's not just the chocolate concept that makes me love this piece. It's the little things - like Brett's one line letter to his brother, or the name of the company (Acme Confectionery and Drain Cleaner Company - AC/DC anyone?) that make this read a lot of fun.But it doesn't just end there, with the discovery of this revolutionary product. We get to see a dozen more instances where this amazingly deceptive treat changes people's lives for the better. And what's so great about that is it brings to the table authors I'd never read before. Such as Dario Dalla Lasta and the retro-inpsired (du)X. Roller rinks and satin shorts will never have a better endorsement. Or Jacob Louder and his vision of a Happy Birthday in Thursday Threesome/Birthday Foursome. And the super hot Exhibit A's contribution of Flat Warming.I could give hints of what's to come in all the stories. But truthfully, I think it's better you discover for yourself. But don't worry.Your sweet tooth - and all that goes with it - are in very good hands.

There is never a dull moment in this book
There is never a dull moment in this book. The combination of chocolate, science, and sex is about as erotic as you can get. Oleander's opening chapter is my personal favorite, but all of the chapters are very erotic and well-written. I love how even though the chocolate is a central theme throughout the book, every chapter has a unique and fascinating story to it. Other highlights include the chapters written by Ella Dawson and L. Maretta. Simply put, if you are a fan of erotica, this book is a must-read.

Wowza!
Wowza! Chemical [se]X was a lot of things for me. The first couple of stories had me in stitches giggling over some of the phrasing and I was worried that I got myself into something that wouldn’t deliver in the sexy department. The intro and the set up for the anthology had me really interested and I was anxious to see how so many different voices were going to deliver. And then, I got to the rest of the stories and was blown away by the different writing styles and the many different scenarios that each writer dreamed up after Oleander Plume’s initial short story set the premise. I attempted to take notes on each story, but that went out the window once I got going. The stories were not only well written but many have been highlighted for future locating as they will be reread in the future for “personal use”. A lot of different kinks and fetishes are included within the pages of Chemical [se]X and that was part of the fun. With each new story and author, I had the joy of discovering how each particular writer was going to incorporate aphrodisiac chocolates into their kinky tales. With the exception of just a couple stories I found this to be a worthwhile anthology that will be revisited over and over again in the future. I would definitely recommend this one!

Cant wait to read the rest
I will admit to so far just reading one story from this anthology, The Dinner Guest by Tabitha Rayne. Short and to the point Luca and Jasper can feed me chocolate anytime, anyplace. I will get round to reading the rest soon.

Sexy, hot anthology
Unusually, I’m going to start by mentioning the cover for this book. I think it’s awesome, one of the best I’ve seen. So many erotic books have naff generic covers that don’t have anything really to do with what’s inside the book. (Is it just me who gets annoyed when the bloke on the front doesn’t even look like the character in the book? Anyway, I digress…) This cover is sharp and sexy, I could lick it but actually I want to dip my finger in that chocolate and dribble it on interesting parts of my body. That is a really good way to start a book.So to the book… well it’s got some of my favourite writers in. That’s not to say it gets an automatic great review, it doesn’t. It’s getting a great review because it is HOT! It’s got a really nice mix of humour and intensity, which I would expect from Oleander seen as her stories are always funny. It also has stories about new and old relationships, as well as multiple partners which I love. Jacob Louder’s Thursday Threesome / Birthday Foursome really stood out for me as well as Tabitha Rayne’s The Dinner Guest and boy did I feel the heat in Tamsin Flowers’ The Stranger. Each story uses the chocolate to explore different aspects of sexuality, relationships or creative ways to have sex. It’s a perfect mix of styles and ideal for picking up when you feel the need for some sexual chocolate a.k.a some alone time… OK well there you are, I’ve recommended it now go, read it, make yourself feel good and raise some money for charity while you’re at it!

Chocolate, sex and entertaining short stories? Who could ask for more?
An imaginative and entertaining anthology of themed short stories. As with any anthology, some tickle my fancy more than others, but I rather than talk about my faves, I encourage you to try the book and find your own. I've always liked the sensuous aspects of chocolate and this selection of stories had my full attention very quickly... Yummy!

Packed with up and coming talent
There are some fantastic authors writing erotica at the moment, but it remains true that it's a relatively tiny genre in comparison with some others and so sometimes the same names seem to come up again and again. The most refreshing thing about Chemical Se[x] is that it's packed with new talent. Most of the authors have been previously published, but still feel relatively new to the scene to me, others, like Exhibit A and Ella Dawson are truly excellent writers definitely worth keeping an eye on.

HOT [se]X!
having finished the anthology...wow! I was 'blown' away and hooked after the first couple of stories: chemical [se]X and du(X) made everything in my body tingle! I did get a little distracted about 60% into the book but then I nearly chocked on my coffee reading "Coffee Break," Oleander Plume's second story in the anthology. Steamy pansexual hotness! I felt as "excited" as Ryan while reading about it! Now to find a similar group for a similar experience! This is definitely recommended to anyone looking for a hot HOT read of a variety of sexual pleasures. Well done to all the authors. Thanks to Oleander for putting together an amazing anthology. I don't know how I'm going to be able to put out the fire in my man p***y after reading this! Any volunteers? ;-)
