This keeps my bit from clogging up with drilled out paper bits. I don’t need to sharpen nearly as much. The bit doesn’t heat up as much due to less friction and it really helps when drilling thorough large stacks of business card stock.

Just run the paper-drilling bit through this lube stick regularly, and you'll get better cuts and longer bit life. I learned to use this lube stick many years ago, when I first started drilling paper, and it's great stuff and a standard among everyone I know who cuts paper.
