Best and most beautiful mailbox ever!
This hummingbird mailbox is even more beautiful in person than in the picture. I love everything about it. It is extremely sturdy with nice heavy feel and a wonderful powder coat finish. And the size is nice and roomy, but not so large as to look odd. The front flap is heavy and held closed with a powerful magnet. The design detail is very dimensional and beautiful on all sides. And the red flag is sturdy and very well finished with a hard shiny red paint that looks almost like it's baked on. Just 4 long screws (included) to attach it to a mounting board on the under side, and you're up and running. Some reviews complained that the mounting board sent with the mailbox was too small; and that was the case for me. But no big deal...we just used the same mounting board from our old mailbox and added a couple of little strips along each side to get the proper width for the new box. I absolutely LOVE this mailbox! Buy it. You won't regret it.

Nice and sturdy
The mailbox has a very nice design and was easy to install. We've installed it about 3 months ago, so no wear or tear is visible yet. Doesn't seem to be easy to scratch. Door magnet is strong. Good quality altogether

Mailbox review
Very nice product. Beautiful patina copper-like finish. Heavy duty, thick metal with nice artistic Hummingbird on sides. Heavierthan I anticipated. Definitely the nicest mail box on the block! A little pricy but is built to last. I like the magnet on the door as well. No concerns that it is not closed! And large space for packages.

Sturdy, nice looking, noisy
Bought this along with Special Lite Products SPK-600-CP Ashland Post and Burial Kit, Copper, they look great together. This seems to be a sturdy mailbox however I had a problem with the first mailbox, the door kept falling off. I requested a replacement, and the second one seems to be better constructed. Really the door hinge is just two posts coming off the bottom of the door going into two holes at the bottom of the housing. Very simple, but we'll see over time if it holds up. The magnet is strong, so strong it makes a noise when you open and close it. I think everyone on the street can hear it when I close the mailbox.

Absolutely beautiful
I can not put into words how much I love this mailbox.I was looking to do something to honor my mother after her death and stumbled on this. Her urn, that she chose, also had hummingbirds on it, so I feel this would have been something she would have picked in life.It was very easy to set up, and I love that the copper is more of a brown. Suits her taste.
