Rear Bumper Guard for Hyundai Tucson 2011-2015 ix35

Very pleased with this purchase to cover up previous scratches! It fits perfectly on my bumper. There is a slight space on one side, but not noticeable without close inspection. It was very easy to install and looks factory made. I left the chrome strips intact because they are just plastic and give it a nice look. Time will tell as for the durability, but so far so good.

I had been looking at this item for sometime to put on a Tucson 2016. However, all the reviews I had seen had been for the Mazda CX5 and other vehicles. I contacted the seller to enquire the fit of the item and he responded promptly that there had been no problems and if there were problems they would issue an RMA to send the item back. Around that time I saw one review for a Tucson 2016 so I took the chance and was pleasantly surprised. The item came in a nice tall narrow box (pic 1) with plenty space to spare (pic 2) and the item was nicely bubble wrapped (pic 3). Inside the bubble wrap the item was wrapped in another set of plastic (pic 4) and inside that was another metal sign with Tucson printed (pic 5 & 6). There are a lot of 3m tape on the item (pic7 -11) except for maybe the center and the lip - I ended up putting some extra 3m tape in those areas (not shown) - it may not have been necessary. The top has some chrome strips ( pic 12-14). I ended up installing in the location pic 15/pic 16. It fits perfectly. The only issue is the chrome strips that I think sit too high and may rub the trunk when closed. I tried to pass a piece of paper and it can't pass where the chrome strips are so I ended up removing the chrome strips.

Looks great and works great.

Easy to apply and sticks well. Makes the vehicle look good from the rear, and who doesn't like their rear to look good

Over time, the chrome trim, rubs the paint on the bottom of the lift, gate. I'll have to re paint to avoid any chance of, rust. I do NOT reccomend this product!!
