Excellent game
I am so happy that I bought this for my 3-year-old daughter. She loves to play games, so I try to find games that will be different every time we play. This is a very high quality game that includes a CD of a variety of clear sounds and several sturdy, colorful Bingo boards (that are 2-sided as well!). It also comes with a whole lot of reusable sticky pieces to play the game with, which work excellent if you are playing in the car. The pieces are a bit difficult for my 3-year-old to peel off by herself, but that is a good way for her to practice fine motor skills. All of this can be stored easily and securely in the sturdy box.The first time we played this game my daughter kept trying to chat during it, and then she realized that she was talking over the sounds so she got quiet and started to focus. I think this game is teaching her to distinguish sounds and learn a few new sounds (which is great), but more importantly, I believe (or at least hope!) it is teaching her how to be silent and really listen when it is necessary to do so.

I gave it 3 stars because the kids do like the game
As an SLP I wanted this game to improve my students listening skills. I thought this game might help. It really didn't. There is no introduction to the game or the sounds; the sounds are played one time only and for a very short time (relying on me to stop the disk and repeat each one), some of the sounds are unusual (like cymbals-not the clanging type and bagpipes?) and not typically heard by my students. I was hoping for a game that would bring the familiar sounds around them to the classroom for sound discrimination. I gave it 3 stars because the kids do like the game, but it does not meet my needs.

Love it!
I bought this for a Typically Developing 3 year old and a Special Needs 5 year old and it has been great fun. A couple of the sounds are a bit uncommon, like the cymbals are ride cymbals instead of crash symbols and the elephant and cat sounds a little off. But the kids quickly learned that for this game that's what those sounds mean. A great way to work on listening skills. I also used it to encourage my Special Needs daughter to request that I play the sound again if she needed to hear it a second time.

Great for younger kids!
I bought this for use in my classroom (Pre-K - 4 & 5yr olds). My class absolutely loved it! Only a few of the sounds that the children did not recognize. But even for the unusual sounds I typically had at least one child recognize the sound. Only problem is the small amount of boards.

Unique Version of Bingo
This game comes with a CD that plays sounds. Players have to identify the sounds and check to see if the item that makes the sound is on their bingo card. This works best with a CD player that has a 'shuffle' or 'random' feature so that you can mix up the sounds each game. I think this game is a great idea.

Fun for parent and child together
This is a fun thing for parent and child to do together. My son was 2.5 when we got this. He doesn't completely get the rules but we have lots of fun simply matching the sounds to the pictures. As he gets older we can introduce the competitive element. Nice packaging - would make a good present.

Fun Game
Fun game. My kids enjoyed trying to guess what the sounds are on our first time playing it. I don't know if it will be as much fun in future plays now that they know the sounds already, but maybe it will. My kids seem to really like the game of bingo so I hope it finds us happy for a long time to come. I like how there are so many cards for multiple players. Too bad there isn't a larger pool of sounds, although it's still quite extensive. Some of them are unrecognizable to me, such as the cat. It's more of a howl and not a typical meow. Overall, this is a good buy for the money!

We used this at school
This is a really good game the children can do independently once they are shown how. The counters are very small things made out of punched out card, so not very easy to handle for little children and probably not hard wearing, so we didn't use them. Lots of lovely realistic sounds, many they had never heard before in real life.

Ok, but needs more than one cd
This a great game for my two and a half year old having kept his attention for longer than most games, however with it having only one disc after a few plays it's very predictable as you can't change the order of the noises. Pity it didn't have two discs and two types of bingo cards at least.

great game
Children from 2yrs up like this game, helps to get them to listen to the sounds and causes great debate between the children as they try to decide which sound they can hear, got some really good answers from the children. great buy.

Bought it for our pre-school with a view to make learning more interesting for the children. It seems to be working.
