RHYTHMClocks "Fiddler" Wooden Musical Clock

First package arrived and neck was damaged . Contacted the seller and they immediately shipped out another one and I just love it. Worked directly with me to replace the damaged one professionally and efficiently. There is a variety of playlist to pick from, volume control and off switch on back of violin to turn chimes off. Violin is beautiful , shiny not dull like the pictures. Very satisfied. I play the violin and it’s nice to have this for a clock on my wall.

I moved and couldn't take my grandfather clock with me. Also decided on a new modern look.Checked every clock on the internet....this was the best for the price.One little thing, the minute hand is very thin, making it hard to see.

This clock looks and sounds elegant. The Westminster chimes are really nice and it doesnt sound cheap it goes great with our Howard Miller. The back just slides off and you can choose melodies or Westminster. If you want it to be silent you can do that. I paid 109 which I feel was a steal.

I really like the size and weight of the clock. There is only one improvement it needs. And that is to play violin music. It needs some violin solo music!Thanks. It was a gift to my husband and he was so surprised when he opened the wrapping.

Very disappointed with this as it simply doesn't work. Sent it back with the idea of exchanging it but changed my mind after the sellers response of "The replacement will be same as the one you received." Hmmm... okay, keep it! Promptly got a full refund. NOTE: Contrary to what written in reviews and in Q & A, this clock does NOT have a working pendulum or a battery cover on the back to keep out dust.

I just love this unique clock! The chimes have a very nice tone, not cheap sounding at all. And the picture does not do it justice. It is actually a nice polished look like a real fiddle, not the dull matte look as in the picture.

WALL DECOR.

The description says that you can change settings by flipping a switch on the back of the clock. However, the switches are on the back of the clock mechanism which is internal to the clock itself. In order to change the settings you must remove the clock from the wall and remove the wooden back piece. The back piece is removed by sliding it up, lifting out the bottom edge then letting it drop free. When it is in music mode it will not strike quarter or half hour but just plays the music on the hour in rotation. You select either Christmas or Classical. Mine plays 16 classical or 3 Christmas so the number of songs played in the description is not quite correct. Most of the time I have it set to Westminster and strike on the quarter hours and I let it strike throughout the night even though you can set it to be silent as stated. Mine also started acting up striking only part of the hour count and/or only part of the quarter hour strikes. I called the company and they were very friendly and helpful. As it turned out the batteries that came with it just did last very long. Since replacing those batteries it has worked perfectly keeping very good time. I have one of those atomic clocks that syncs itself with the National Bureau of Standards and I have not yet needed to make an adjustment to this clock to keep it accurate. One does have to manually change the time when DST starts and ends. All in all, I am very happy with this clock. I gave it only 4 stars because of the need to take the clock down and open it up in order to access the settings buttons - only the demo button is external on the upper right side of the clock. I should say it has a very nice hanger hole on the back making easy to re-hang once it has been removed from the wall.
