"Charlie and the New Baby" is just as remarkable as all the "Charlie" books before it. His antics and remarks keep the child's attention along with the fantastic illustrations! It's a book your child will ask to be read to them over and over. Along with that, there is a great recipe that is presented at the end of the book, which will let your child experience even more "Charlie" time! I just love this book and your child will too!

What a fun story and sweet book! Actually, my son suggested we buy it for our 2-year-old grandson. When I asked, "are you trying to tell us something," he responded, "No, he just likes Charlie and farm animals." So, when we were able to visit and give it to our grandson for his birthday, we were also surprised with the news of another grandbaby to arrive, which would be about ten months after we bought the book. So listen up, grandparent wannebe's: this book may be your answer. Ha, that's a joke, but we sure enjoyed the laughter it's brought. Oh, and thank-you, Ree Drummond, for another wonderful Charlie story!

Charlie has to get used to the new calf Abigail, learn to share his things with her, and wait for attention now that there's another little one getting the attention. Good for explaining the arrival of a little sibling who can't do all the grown up big sis or bro things the older one can. We love that Charlie is humorous too. We read this a lot.

I buy the books for my granddaughters but enjoy the stories and the great photographs. I hate it when I miss your weekday TV shows. The Food Channel keeps changing the time slots, bah humbug! Great Christian TV!!!!!! It will be a sad day for this old coot when you run out of recipes and stories.

My 2 year old granddaughter loves these books. We watch the Pioneer Woman and she loves to see Charlie and Walter and all the animals. We had a basset hound too so she can relate. These stories are so charming. She is always asking me to "read Charlie the Ranch Dog stories."

My little just had a baby brother born so this was a really good way to teach her about sharing attention and how the baby needs more because so newOne of our favorite books to read

What can I say.....anything Ree Drummond does is perfect. I have purchased several of her Charlie books for my new granddaughter who's daddy works on the family ranch. They are perfect and this one was especially perfect because it was calving season at the ranch! I will continue to purchase these books for my granddaughter through the years!

Big bright pictures, well written, perfect bedtime story reading. Children will enjoy it also ;) You will never find a Charlie book in a thrift store or yard sale as these books will become family keepsakes to pass down.
