Sanilo Soft Close Toilet Seat, Wide Choice of New Toilet Seats, Stable Hinges, Easy to Mount (Malibu)

Hinges are stuck and hard to move which makes it impossible to adjust to horizontal position and actually install this toilet seat. I sprayed hinges with sillicone lubricant but it did not fix the problem. It is not cheap seat and I am reluctant to have replacement after my experience with this one. I am still waiting for seller response to my querry, so far to no avail. Very disappointed with my purchase and I gave it one star only because delivery was quick. *Finally, after three days of trying I managed to install the seat, after literraly 'bathing' the hinges in olive oil, I was able to adjust them into position and fix the seat. Overall, the seat is very comfortable and the cover goes down gently. I hope my experinece was in some way unique and other customers do not have to get through 'stubborn' hinges problem, but in the end I can recommend the seat which is of good quality wood, nice looking and nice to use.

Arrived in perfect condition, within a nicely presented cardboard box.This is a beautiful marina style toilet seat. I absolutely love the design. This image goes all the way through on each of the sides.This is a slow shut toilet seat. This does take a good few seconds to close. There are 4 large rubber feet on the base of the seat also.The seat is made from thick and strong plastic. It's comfortable to sit on and doesn't really get cold.It was easy to install, even for a novice like me! All the necessary parts are there provided.I would recommend it. Not bad for the price at all. Beautiful design and made well.

When I first fitted it, I was delighted as it looked good and the soft close worked well. Unfortunately, just one month later, the seat has broken right through! There are only three of us in our household and none of us are overweight! The crack appeared and has now gone right through the seat, with nothing other than normal use.Very disappointing!

Purchased this loo seat Nov 2015. My husband was pleased with the fixings and they are certainly very secure, however that is all that is good about this loo seat. We fitted it in our guest bedroom ensuite which is rarely used. It was not exposed to extreme heat, steam and I always cleaned it with non abrasive cleaner. Despite this my lovely loo seat hinges began to rust, they are now corroded quite badly. Earlier this week I realised that the part of the seat you sit on (underneath) has gone lumpy. I am disappointed and rather cross about this especially as it was not cheap. I have emailed the seller about this. Don't buy this utter rubbish.

These toilet seats may look a little expensive, at first glance, but I personally think they are of excellent quality and really add visual ambiance to the bathroom. Actually I didn't find it that difficult to fix, after a little thought on the drawn instructions, but it was definitely worth the effort. The soft close works perfectly and just a wipe over cleans and sanitises the surface, which still looks as good today as when it was first fitted, several months ago. The variety of design is enough to give everyone a good chance of finding something pleasing to the eye, that will leave you and any guest user smiling. You might as well enjoy the experience, that none of us can do without anyway.

Very happy with my purchase. The design exactly as in the picture and the whole thing feels very study, heavy and well made (unlike 3 of the other manufacturers that I tried).The only thing I would say though is that the outer laminate is not very well stuck to the chipboard wood underneath and in a couple of places it has slightly bubbled.It's now been 3 months though and no sign of anything wearing further. All good. Highly recommend. Have bought 2 more of these now.

I love my bathroom, it is traditional, classic style but has that extra something. This loo seat just adds the finishing touch of class. It really is as beautiful as the picture if not more so. I wasn't looking to spend this much on the loo but I am so glad I did, it is perfect. The slow quiet closing system is great and the droplets of water are so real they make you want to dry them off.I ordered it on Saturday and it came on Wednesday, can't fault that when coming all the way from Germany. It takes longer to get a 1st class letter these days. Free P&P is an added bonus.You may think I'm going a bit OTT but this is really special, different and well worth the extra money.

This is a very good solid toilet seat with slow closure that actually works! I have spent a fair bit on slow closing toilet seats over the years that were cheap materials but expensive in price the last one I had lasted less than 2wks before the slow closing stopped working. I have 2 teenage boys who don't seem to understand the concept of closing a toilet lid quietly so it was a must have in my home unfortunately like I said the others I have brought (3 in total) haven't lasted but as soon as this one came I immediately noticed the difference in the materials and the fixtures they looked more sturdy and well made. I ahve had the seat for approx 2mnths and it still works with no signs of weakening also the seat is sturdy and not moving around like the others I had and it only took me literally 15 mins to put together and fit whilst I was in a hard cast on my leg lolThe only trouble I had was choosing one of the many lovely designs
