Pretty easy to install and they work great so far. If anything fails I will update! But so far they are great and he can't get his little fingers in there like the older ones. Big bonus no holes in my brand new cabinetry.

Does a perfect job keeping my son out of the cabinets. Super easy to install and easy to open up. You just need to remember where you installed the lock when putting the magnet against the cabinet.Before we were using these, we had the normal hook locks. My son figured out how to get into the cabinet fairly quickly with those; however, with these locks.. he’s completely given up on the cabinets. He doesn’t even try anymore. Woohoo! Would definitely recommend.

I really loved how easy it was to install. Didn’t like that some of adhesive backing didn’t stick. Overall it’s keeping my baby girl out of places she shouldn’t be!

The media could not be loaded. I bought these locks based on my friends using magnetic locks (from IKEA) on their cabinets for their daughter. Seemed easy enough based on the other reviews and besides, I've installed/assembled lots of things in my day. Well, these were indeed one of the biggest install challenges I have faced....yet.Opened the package and surprise - the "directions" are 4 pictures shown on the back of the package with NO text description, just photos! No labeling part A or part 1; just figure it out based on our pictures. OK, I could deal with pictures, but there is so much information that is just not relayed, like exactly where to install the locks in conjunction with the design of your door/drawer. Also, there's a plastic "thing" that I think is supposed to tell you where to install the latch with the catch part, but I couldn't figure out how to work it or where to place the pieces (here is where more information would have been really great).Some of the cabinet doors have a bigger overlap with the door and opening than others, so you can't put the latches in exactly the same place on every door. You have to lower or raise them sometimes, so I recommend a measuring tape. The same thing with drawers although I was able to just "eyeball" it and make tiny adjustments (WARNING: the adhesive is super human so be very careful that you have it in the right place).Once I get everything in place and tested, some of my latches didn't pop back up unless I tapped it a few times, wah wah. So I contacted customer service and they said I would receive a replacement on Saturday (I'm writing this on Sunday but that's another thing) and since I had already installed everything, they said I could just swap out the bad parts and return the whole thing.So I'll update this once I get my replacement.UPDATE: I did get my replacement and replaced the locks that weren't working. Everything is fine now.

The installation was simple, but when I tested the cabinet door by giving it a tug, the plastic piece inside the cabinet came unstuck and the door opened. I pulled the piece off, tried a different one with a new 3M strip - same story. The magnetic part works great, but I'm going to have to drill my own holes and screw them down if I actually want to keep anyone older than 12 months out of these cabinets. Two stars because the design is great if the tape would actually hold.

Work perfectly!! As a foster family, we have to be sure our home is safe. These are so much nicer than the screw in cabinet locks. We only had 3 drawers we couldn’t use them in due to the design of the drawers. It’s nice that we can remove them easily, we rent and won’t be charged for drilling holes.

These are so much better than the older version locks that you push down on. And you don’t have to worry about baby getting fingers in the gap b/c there isn’t one. It’s easy to install and use. And I love that I don’t have to damage my cabinets with making screw holes!

I was excited to install and use this product, but was disappointed by a few things. First, the set was missing one of the latches. See the photo: I only received 13 latches. Second, the product came with absolutely no instructions or guidance for how to install. It might look easy in the photos, but I still would have benefitted from some instructions. Third, it didn’t actually work for any of my cabinets. The internal ceiling of my cabinets are a couple inches higher than the top of the cabinet doors, so it was impossible for me to make the latch line up with the stopper. I feel that if the product description page were more comprehensive and mentioned more about the dimension limitations of this product, I could have recognized before buying it that this product wasn’t going to work for me. Oh well, I’ll give this product to a friend or relative instead.
