Good, for the price
This cat tree isn't bad at all. Considering how expensive most cat furniture is, this one is a great deal. It doesn't have that thicker carpet material like most do, its more of a fleece type, and you are required to assemble it yourself, however that part is really easy and took about 10 minutes to do. Box includes all the parts, 2 hanging mice toys already attached to the pieces they hang from, the bolts/screws you secure the pieces together with, and the correct size Allen wrench to put it all together with. All in all, not bad. My cat is a little hyper sometimes and runs/jumps from the window to the bed to the other side of the house....and so far this thing hasn't tipped over. It is heavy enough where it can support the weight of a cat playing around on it, but noticeably lighter than most others. The only 2 negatives for me were 1) the mouse toys, although really nice and fancy looking, lasted about 5 minutes. If your cat just likes to bat those around in a non-destructive play way, then it should be fine. My cat likes to chew/destroy things and these lasted a few minutes, and also have small parts that I did not want him to chew, so they were tossed as soon as I saw evidence of that. I just cut them off the string and attached some other toy he had in the house, it was easy. 2) The description claims this is a 36 inch cat tree. I measured the floor to window sill in my room and it is exactly 36 inches, that's why I wanted this exact tree. Upon putting it together and setting it by the window, it turns out this cat tree is more like 34.5 inches....which had I known, I would not have gotten it. The point was to make it level with the window sill so my cat could stretch out....and now I find he'll either sit on the little platform, or just avoid it altogether and lay on the window sill again, barely fitting. For the price I paid, it was still worth it. I have other cat trees in the house, so he doesn't use this one all the time anyway. For the amount he uses it, it is sufficient.

Affordable, reasonable cat tree
I bought this when I moved apartments and wanted to keep my large social butterfly cat off the dining room table but feeling part of the community. My boyfriend put it together and we put it against a wall right next to the table. My cat loves it! She enjoys sitting on the top shelf, and can fit most of her ~12.5 pound body on it. She can see out the sliding door nearby, bats at the dangling toy on the ground, and scratches like crazy on the scratching post (even though her previous owner declawed her... a kitty can dream though!).I give 4 stars instead of 5 because I would not leave it totally free standing. It is against the wall for support, which is sufficient but I would have liked to have more choices of where to put it. Also, the tunnel is quite small and therefore unusable by any cat older than about a year (or a tiny full grown cat). It's a reasonable value for what I paid, and my cat definitely enjoys herself on it.

Great, especially for the price.
I searched through all of the reviews here for all of the cat posts under 100 dollars because I didn't want to spend a ton of money on something I'm not sure my new cat will like. Talk about a hard decision. There are so many out there with good reviews, bad reviews mixed in, it's hard to find something that has consistent good reviews so I'm happy I came across this one. It only had 6 reviews when I bought it so I was hesitant but I'm glad I went ahead and made the leap because it's really nice for the price. The material is a fleece-like material but my cat seems to like it so far. It was incredibly easy to put together. I'm a blonde and had trouble putting our TV stand together but this was a breeze. The bottom mouse toy only lasted 5 minutes but the middle mouse toy is still hanging in there. She likes the loose mouse anyway so it's not a huge deal. She fits into the tunnel for now but I have a feeling that when she's fully grown, she may not fit anymore. I like that the posts are sisal posts, I wasn't even aware of that until it arrived. The top platform is super narrow but she's only 3 months old so we'll see how she does with it when she's older. It seems pretty sturdy though. I have it by the window (not in a corner) and so far she hasn't knocked it over. The panels are actually wood instead of a cheap flimsy material and they're pretty heavy which explains the shipping costs, but I'm glad because it keeps the post weighted so it doesn't fall over. I'll adjust my review after having it for a while and see how it goes but so far I really like it for what I paid for it.***UPDATE***It's been almost a year now and my 3 month old kitten is now a 1 year old monster. The scratching post has held up great. The sisal is only slightly tattered and she uses it every day to scratch on. I haven't had to replace anything yet. The fleece is still good since she doesn't scratch that. It lines up perfectly with my living room window and she sits there all day, watching the cars go by. She's on the smaller side of cats (she wears small soft paw nail caps, if that gives you any hint as to what she weighs) so she still fits on it perfectly, although she never uses the tunnel because it's a little too small. Both of the mice are gone but I expected as much. She jumps on it like a monkey when she's playing with the dog and neither of the two of them have knocked it over (my dog is 13 pounds). This thing takes a beating and keeps on kicking. I like it.
