Only Bohdi can make three women so terribly angry by NOT falling for their charms that...
Wow! What an incredible story! While Bohdi has been told that he may need training to prevent a hostile work environment at ADUO, he finds that being a gentleman gets him into bigger trouble when the three Norns have eyes on him. How dare he reject spending the night with the three of them?!This story has more action and adventure running at breakneck speed. Amy, Bohdi, and Thor want to meet the Norns, but they are faced with all kinds of deadly creatures. This one seems to have many light hearted moments among all the danger... It was a fun read and hard to put down!Ms Gockel has definitely done a wonderful job in building the worlds we encounter in this story (and the series in general) to where you can picture it in your mind. The characters are even more developed as they grow within the story. We find Bohdi taking on more challenges than eve he thought he possibly could. We watch Bohdi and Amy grow closer as they try to survive not only in Nornheim but also Asgard... and Odin's less than respectful designs on Amy!We are given flashbacks as Amy and Bohdi need to think of ways to escape... these provide us with background in the myths and yet further the story along. This is a great way to revisit some of the lesser known myths - and the author tells them with heart!I love the author's version of the myths and entwining it into a modern story as well. She definitely brings Amy, Loki, Bohdi, Thor, Frigga, Hoenir, Mimir, Fenrir, Mr Squeakers, Sleipnir, Ratatoskr, Nidhogg, Claire, Steve, and Beatrice to life... We feel their emotions as they are faced with their challenges... and their fear of facing Odin when things don't go his way.As others have said, read the series in order so that you can fully appreciate and understand where this story takes you. I am on such a binge read! I am already into the next book as I HAVE to know what is next! My new favorite series!

Unlikely Outcomes
This series MUST be read in the published order! The first book is I Bring the Fire Part I : Wolves (A Loki Story) . The second book is Monsters : I Bring the Fire Part II (A Loki Story) . The third book is Chaos: I Bring the Fire Part III (A Loki Story) . The fourth book is In the Balance: An I Bring the Fire Novella (IBF 3.5) . This is the fifth book. The next full book will be Warriors and there is a sneak peak at the end of this book :)I really adore the Loki of this series. There is something sweet and innocent about him even though he has seen and done so much that should have truly made him into the unfeeling uncaring monster he is sometimes portrayed as. I find that very refreshing and amusing. This book does a lot of time jumping through flashbacks... But not in a bad way. Every single one is needed for greater understanding of both the characters and the situations they find themselves in. I like that you get to see a lighter and better side of Thor in this book. Usually Thor annoys the living crap out of me no matter how he's written but here I found myself actually finding him to be a sympathetic and endearingly honorable character which can only be attributed to the awesomeness of Gockel's writing prowess. (Though I hate Odin more than normal and worse every book lol) Even Frigga is a somewhat sympathetic character under Gockel's adept pen :)There is no contest really. This is my favorite Loki series ever and it always will be! I would recommend it to people who like mild SciFi and fantasy... But truly it is a comedy of errors on a grand scheme. I am never dissapointed by one of these books... They are thought provoking and funny ... Laced with sadness and joy. Pretty much something for everyone is found within the pages of these books. I really will be waiting on pins and needles for the next book The Slip: A Short Story from I Bring the Fire  to be released!***This series is suitable for adult readers

I have really enjoyed this whole series
I have really enjoyed this whole series, I believe I read all 6 books in a week and considering they are not short books it goes without saying they were great! I love the writers unique take on the myth's around Loki and how the writer was able to take that and turn it into a fantastic tale. The fact that there are 6 books in this series makes it even better as it allowed me to really sink my teeth into the story.

Disappointed to lose Loki
The first 3 books were so fun! I loved Loki! But I lost my favorite character at the end of the last book. We are introduced to an East Indian young man. This was audible for me, so he sounded Indian, not like Loki. It is hinted throughout that he has Loki but I didn't see Loki anywhere in anyone. It was so disappointing!! There were a lot of crazy adventures, but nothing like the chemistry between Loki and the heroine. This young man was human, not very smart, had low self-esteem, and seemed incompetent. Does that sound like a hero or a god to you? Disappointed in author!

One of the best adaptations of the Norse Myths I have ever read.
[Applies to whole series]One of the best adaptations of the Norse Myths I have ever read. I really liked the characters; even the ones who were supposedly well known from being told in countless other stories had interesting twists. The author had obviously done a huge amount of research, and I'm pretty sure some other mythologies were worked in there as well as purely fictional ones. All were seamlessly put together in a set of stories that just kept me hooked from start (Volume 1) to finish (volume 5).. . . and what a great ending in the last book! (No, I'm not giving you even a smidgin of a clue - you'll have to read it for yourself!)

loki series
Another great story, full of plenty of adventure. Introduces you to Norn and Asguard. Lord of the rings meets Thor . Meet Bhodi. Is he Loki hidden away or not. Is Odin good or bad and whats going on with Grandma. This book is full of great storytelling. Looking forward to the next book. Love this series.

Excellent read
This entire series has been a good read. No criticisms which for me is rare. The author paints a detailed and rich history based on the Norse mythology and then effectively works that into a modern-day plotline. I've already recommended this to a few friends.

Grabs you buy the wrist, trails you through worlds and won't let you go!
Really enjoyed this. I thought I would struggle with the spider scenes as I have such a bad phobia but as ever the quality of the writing and the momentum of the storyline just rode me through it. I already have the Sleipnir short story and the next in the series (Warriors) on my Kindle in readiness but I am pacing myself as I want to make the series last.... like when you save the last few chocolate biscuits for another day!.... highly recommended!
