Marcy Pro Olympic Bench

Great product. Bread the instruction well. The bench can be assembled backwards which makes for a very awkward and unsatisfactory living position. If you encounter that problem, assembly.

Package arrived in good shape. All the parts were packaged well. Yes, you need two adjustable wrenches to assemble the bench. I never could determine what size the bolts and nuts were. 3/4 inch came close. Bench assembled easily by myself. Now, I tried out the bench. The bench is too short in the flat position. My bottom hangs off the end of the bench when I press to clear the pegs. I am 5'11". The upright positions are ok. You can squat from the back side using the long pegs. I don't have the leg device though so I cannot comment on that. The bench is different from what I am used to but I am getting used to it. I am disappointed there is no decline bench position. I should have paid attention to the description in the advertisement. Overall, the bench will suffice for now.

This product is complete junk.It was shipped with just about everything bent and every plastic cap missing. The directions require magnifying glasses. Many of the parts are such a tight fit that I'd have to hammer them in; so instead I just stopped and I am going to return this item.It is made with poor quality material and I doubt it could hold much weight. This is a really cheaply made product; the bench pads are also solid as a rock and junk as well.Do not buy this product.

Bought this bench because I was looking for an Olympic style bench that could handle a 45lb. bar. The bench is built well, sturdy, and stable. If you are considering purchasing this bench pay attention to the photos. The bench is really made to use for incline press more so than flat bench press. With the bench inclined, the bar is in perfect position in relation to the users body orientation. However, when the bench is fully horizontal, the bar is way too forward to bench comfortably unless you move your body way back on the bench. I am only 5'6" so this isn't so much of an issue. For a taller person, it seems to me it would be extremely difficult at best; near impossible at worst, to perform flat bench press correctly and comfortably.

This item does not deliver what is suggested by the picture. The main problem is that the protruding supports are in the way of the natural movement of inclined presses. When the bench is flat, as for bench presses, the bar is situated too far forward, to allow ones shoulders to be directly under the weight - that's an injury waiting to happen. It appears from the picture that the bench will move back and forth as it inclines, as it would have to do in order to accommodate both inclined presses and bench presses, but it does not. It is fixed, therefore there is only one position from which it will work without risk of injury. For the price, it would have been great had it worked. To get this type of equipment to work for both included and bench presses requires a bit more engineering then was put into this item.

Amazing set, bought it for a gift. The item was in just in perfect condition .

Bench is great, just have to get the bar and weights to go with it. So far works great for a free weight work out.

Great product works very well and very sturdy. I have seen other comments about this item and how it is hard to do flat bench on because of how close you lay under it. I found that to be false for the fact that you can move the bench further away by lifting it up slightly and Pulling It away from the rack. If you look at the picture you will see four silver slanted bars under the seat that are used move the bench closer and further away
