Thin plastic sheeting, suitable for masking off stuff, not for walking on.
When searching for clear plastic sheeting whilst renovating my apartment, my biggest decision was which thickness of plastic to use. What does 1mil mean? A little googling told me (via globalplasticsheeting dot com) "It is rated with the term, 'mil'. A mil is a measurement that equals one-thousandth of an inch, or 0.001 inch. Most human hair is One-thousandth of inch, or 0.001 inch. The most common size in the thickness rating for plastic sheeting is 6 mil."In real world terms, this 1 mil sheeting is about the same thickness as a supermarket carrier bag, maybe slightly less. This kind of weight of sheeting is suitable for covering paint (or paint stripper whilst drying), but isn't going to live up to very much wear if you walk on it. It served my purpose reasonably well, and I would buy it again if I needed more.

Imperfect but still a good value
I purchased this because of its good size-to-cost ratio. It's really quite spacious for the money. In truth, I'm using this as a tarp to cover some palleted boxes in the garage, rather than as a painter's drop cloth. As a tarp, it's a little flimsy and tears more easily than I would have thought. (It's similar to a thin cling-film sandwich wrap.) However, as a drop-cloth, I can certainly see how good a purchase this could have been--and still can be, if I decided to appropriate it for a painting project. Okay, maybe it's not a perfect product, but it' still been a very good purchase.

Drop cloths
They're drop cloths. Not too much to say. I bought 3; 1 was stuck together and wouldn't open fully, but I still got about 4 ft width out of it, which was fine for the project I was working on. Happens. I usually pick these up at the hardware store, but I forgot and was starting a new project - delivery via Amazon it is. Price a little more than I usually pay at the hardware store, but I assume that's to help cover shipping and sometimes convenience wins.

Gets the job done.
If you are careful in placement (over a couch, for example, while knocking down a brick wall), you will save yourself a lot of cleaning the dust off the couch. Worked very well!

Just be aware!
These are exactly what they say but you may not understand how thin they are. If you are wanting something for a one-time use and discard they are perfect. Worked for me exactly as I had planned.

This drop cloth is much better than plastic!
This is now my go-to drop cloth for all sorts of applications. Do not let the thickness fool you - it is tough, and for some reason does not blow around like plastic sheets (even 1 mil!).

... get cheaper at lowes or home depot but it's nice to not have to drive anywhere
Could probably get cheaper at lowes or home depot but it's nice to not have to drive anywhere. The convenience makes up for it. However, I unfolded the plastic with my hands (I'm 5'1" and 100 lbs - no bodybuilding meat hands here) and the plastic ripped. It's very thin. Be wary of unfolding it.

Furniture cover
The dropcloth provides excellent coverage for large furniture. I basically wrapped a full-size couch with it.

Not super tuff
Drop sheet is not very think. The sheet ripped very easily. If you are just putting it down and not touching it much it will do the job, however if it might get pulled or things might be dragged on it, I would recommend looking elsewhere

Not durable
Most definitely NOT super tough! There’s a lot of it, but it’s very lightweight and delicate. I’ve had to patch all the rips and holes with masking tape so I don’t get paint on the floor.

Bien !
Très bien mais le plastique à usage unique n'est pas une solution d'avenir !

Thin but does the job!
It’s thinner than I thought but it does the job! Just be careful so it doesn’t rip :)
