Excellent cookware
I wanted to learn tajine cooking and selected this tajine pot based on others reviews. It's a dream to cook with - stove top or in the oven. Easy to use and clean. Plus it's a beautiful pan - the shape and red are so pretty.

Beautiful piece!!
I've not cured or used it yet, but will soon. We enjoy and can digest the quieter flavors, so will probably not use it for the hot, intensely flavored cooking. But I look forward to trying some of the suggested recipes, adjusted to our tastes, of course. I'VE USED MINE SEVERAL TIMES NOW. LOVE THIS ONE DISH COOKING VERY MUCH. IT WORKS WELL FOR MID-WESTERN FOODS!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Tagine's are fun and easy to use
First off this is a quality made Tagine. I've never used one before and I tried a variation of the suggested Chicken recipe that came with the Tagine. I wasn't sure how the Cauliflower would turn out when I had fat baby carrots along with fresh string beans in there. After an hour and 30 mins on the electric stove, I was amazed at how everything was done and done well! I had baby carrots that were done and Cauliflower that wasn't mush! The Chicken was great. I ate it for two nights in a row. I'll be using this again and I am really thinking this Tagine is really going to make a great stew. Big enough to feed two or three people, maybe four depending on what you have with it.

I haven’t used this product yet. It arrived packed very securely so was undamaged. It is gorgeous and very sturdy. The instructions are in both French and English and are very thorough. One important thing.....it is RED! It is NOT burgundy. I didn’t care and think the color is pretty but if you want burgundy this isn’t it. To give you perspective..I pulled out my Heinz ketchup and they are the same color.

For delicious tagine recipes or even baking artisan breads
I bought this Tagine in 2016, and it has stood up very well for me. I bought another brand which required a diffuser, and it just did not work well on my glass top stove. Yet, the Emile Henry does not require a diffuser at all and you can cook easily with it on the stove to or in the oven. It stands up to 500°F, though I always gradually heat it up just to take good care of it. Not only does it make great tagine recipes, it also serves very well for baking bread, if you don’t have a Dutch oven. Bottom line, I truly love this thing and I hope to keep it around my kitchen for many years to come.

Great until it cracks
I ordered this 2019 and it cracks 2020. 3 months of weekly uses. Making tagine, same way, same temperature, different ingredient. The time it cracked I had clams in it.I contacted via their email cause it stated it has 10 years manufacture warranty. No response. So sad I thought it’d last better.
