Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you. It is totally true. I've tried privacy screens in the past, mostly film, I think it was the Galaxy S4. It was dark, not clear, just difficult to see. Well, many years past, I think the quality and design of this glass is now leaps and bounds better than the past.For the purposes if privacy, it serves me well. From the person standing next to me, while holding my phone chest level, what can be seen is just black screen.To compare this to a clear non-privacy screen, for the clarity standpoint, this screen protector appears to be darker. No comparison, serves different purpose.And now, for the unanimous part, it still serves as a protective screen. Application is so easy with the provided applicator frame. It is so hard to miss that. Wet and dry wipes included, total of 3 glasses in all!

1 MONTH UPDATE:Downgraded to 1 star, breaks really easily. I went through all of them in one month. I’m clumsy and I drop my phone a lot. First break and first drop ever with the protector on, it cracked across the glass. It fell from my window ledge to the sink (less than a foot of distance). Second break it fell from my bed to the tile floor, again crack across the glass not just a knick. Third one is on my girlfriend’s phone and it annoys her that when she slightly tilts the phone she can’t see her screen. Idc about not seeing my screen with a tilt but it’s really annoying that I’ve had a lot of screen protector brands that withstand my constant phone dropping but every time I drop my phone I have to pray my screen protector isn’t cracked and needs to be replaced. I guess that’s the point of a screen protector, to protect the phone itself and yes it does that, my phone is still in great condition, but I shouldn’t have to replace it on every inevitable drop. Ive had a new one on, a diff brand since 2 days ago, dropped my phone 4 times already, still on the first protector. I could probably be less clumsy yes, but then that’s really more unrealistic than making a stronger glass protector.I like that it’s a privacy screen but I barely dropped it a foot and it cracked easily. Maybe my case is to blame for not having much front protection, but I would like it to be tougher. It also attracts a lot of fingerprints and isn’t exactly easy to get off.I really do like the privacy aspect of it though and it’s really easy to install, bubble-free every time.

I’ve had this screen protector on my phone for a few days now and so far, it’s worked well. It looks very tinted, but once it’s on, you don’t really notice the tint. I think the description said 35% reduction in screen brightness, but it’s not really noticeable in my opinion.Installation was standard like all the other screen protectors and it comes with wipes, stickers, and a guide that makes it a breeze.From side angles, it provides some privacy where the screen looks darker, making it a little more difficult for others to see your screen. Top and bottom angles look pretty much the same as a direct view, which is to say not tinted gray.Overall, it’s a cost-effective option and comes in a 3-pack!

I never really wanted or sought out a privacy screen protector, but when I found this for the price with a lifetime warranty I figured it was worth a shot. Upon receiving the package I was very pleased with the ease of install, and the quality of the product, it took a whopping 2-3 minutes to get it on, and all the necessary tools to do so were in the box. I've used this brand screen protector before and had very good results ( 2 broken screen protectors, but 0 broken screens). I believe the product is worth a full 5 star rating for the quality, the price, and the warranty. Of course the privacy aspect of the item lives up to the title as well - better than i anticipated, albeit my expectations were not overly high - as it does keep your screen normally visible straight on, and nearly impossible to see from any point on the side. overall a great buy, especially for the price,

I have used lots of screen protectors. I have ordered lots of screen protectors. I have learned that the snap-on guide is a must. Check! this has it.Also, having the wet and dry cleaner get the screen ready. Check! its's there. The real test is how easily the protector goes on the screen without air bubbles. After prep, the uShield went right on my iPhone and no bubbles. A quick smooth-out on top and it was in place.So far, I am happy!The added bonus here...the privacy screen. At angles, you cannot see the screen (see photo). I love it. Thanks for the great iPhone screen protector. Highly recommended.

The privacy function is great. You get a small field of view at your phone, pretty much eliminating other's ability to see anything on your screen. On contrary, when my phone has been on a table and I get a notification to glance at, sometimes, it becomes just a little bit too hard to see. Protection wise its also flawless, for the price, there literally is no better investment to protect a phone. It will hold your screen together from drops, scratches, bumps, just that much more protection in holding the screen together. The display is quite a bit darker, and while that was expected, I really didn't expect how much it would affect seeing the phone especially outside on sunny days. Indoors, its quite acceptable, but outdoors, you'll definitely feel a difference

This is a very well-made screen protector. The package came with three protectors, plus three sets of cleaning wipes and dust removal stickers, plus a plastic alignment tool to make the installation easy. And easy it was. I just pulled the old protector off the phone, cleaned the screen with the wet and dry wipes, placed the alignment tool on the phone, and put the new screen protector on the phone. There were just a few bubbles that were easy to push out. And it was on perfectly. The tint creates even more protection by making it difficult for anyone other than the phone user to see the screen. Overall a great product!
