I cant get enough of Aprilynne Pike's books. This series is no different. Once I started reading it I couldn't really stop (luckily I bought on Kindle and I could take it anymore on my phone). It is so well written you can live and feel what the characters do. I cannot wait for a third book, I do hope a third one is actually published. It would be a shame not to see where Charlotte and new friend Sophie manage to do. Looking forward for more, and not just in the series. Pike has become one of favorite authors.

This is one fantastic creepy read.
I’m a big fan of Aprilynne Pike right from the Wings series anyway, and I loved Sleep No More (the first Charlotte Westing book). Getting a sequel so quickly is such a treat! Sleep of Death picks up a couple months after Sleep No More ends and continues Charlotte’s adventures. There are new characters, new visions, a new bad guy, and the continuation of some of the threads from Sleep No More. This book was really creepy and just when I thought I had one part of the mystery figured out, something would change. The new character, Sophie, changes things up in an exciting way and the thing that happens right at the end (sorry to be vague!) opens up huge possibilities!Loved this new installment! It’s different than her Wings series, and kind of has the realistic tone of Life After Theft, despite the “magic.” A really great match to Sleep No More. I think you could probably figure things out just reading this book, but I do recommend reading Sleep No More first. Just because it’s awesome too!

Crazy good...
So, I'm a huge fan, but am sorely disappointed because I always buy my favorite author's in bound editions, not kindle... Not that I don't love my kindle. Its just more rewarding to sit and breathe in the new pages of a beloved author.... So I'm begging, as one of your biggest fans to keep putting your books in actual print.... This one included....On a different note, this book, just like every book I've read of Aprilynne's is fantastic!!! I could not put it down.... I highly recommend it!!!

Better Than The First!
I am a big fan of Aprilynne-both as a person and a fantastic author who doesn't mid taking a bit of time to make a fan happy. She outdid herself with this book, and I only wish I had a printed version I could have signed! This book kept with the power and action of the first book, with the wonder addition of a spunky character to be a friend to the lonely Charlotte. The story's multiple jumps back in time make sense and add an intensity to the story line. The story does include Linden, but not so much it throws the progression of the plot line off. The growth of Charlottes character is natural and understandable without being corny or overly dramatic.I enjoyed this book very much and am very excited for the next book! It can't come out quick enough!

another great book
I hope there will be more in this series. I love the idea of the oracle and I cant wait to learn more. I also love how the writer is handling the relationships in the story. Its not always a happily ever after everything will be alright story. Things are not always what they seem.

A Riveting Sequel
In the sequel to Sleep No More, Charlotte Westing faces her oracle powers once again and tries to save more precious lives. While she has tried to push Linden into her past, she makes a new brand friend named Sophie who might be more special than you think. This page turner will leave you wanting more of Charlotte's magical world!

A different kind of series
I really like these books...they are not your typical storyline, even if I could predict some of the story, I still found myself wanting to read. Definitely looking forward to book 3

So creepy but so good!
After finishing book 1 and discovering that there was another one to follow I knew I had to download it - it's only currently available on Kindle.Charlotte is still trying to get over the murders of her classmates and the discovery that she was being used by John. A lesson she had to learn the hard way, but even so she still wants to try and help people, but she has to decide whether to follow the rules and resist her visions or if she should let them come and try to change the future. Then she sees a vision of a grisly double homicide and things start getting complicated, especially when the new girl at school finds out about Charlotte's powers and reveals some unusual gifts of her own.As the girls dig further into the future and try to figure out just who is behind the murders things start to get more and more complicated and soon one of them may be in just as much trouble.Again these books are not my usual taste in books, the mere mention of a homicide let alone a gruesome one would have me running a mile, but I love Pike's writing and wanted to know what happened to Charlotte next so I got stuck in.It was quite gory in places and very violent, in fact I jumped in my seat a few times but I did figure out who was responsible as soon as the character was introduced - it was so obvious to me, so instead of being surprised by the revelation I was still waiting for them to attack again, I knew more would come and man I was not wrong. This took a seriously creepy turn but yet I still had to keep reading.I have to admit that after reading this book I did have nightmares that night but I am a wimp so it's only to be expected I suppose. I'm still glad I read it, as it was such a gripping read, Pike does it so well, a true horror master - if you can get someone so involved they physically can't turn away from the story!I am even hoping that there will be a third book in the series, I can't help it - I want more. (I think I'm mad) :)

Great Book!
After reading the first in this series I didn't know what to expect, but Sleep of Death is even better than Sleep No More. The characters developed nicely and I loved the dynamic between Charlotte and a new character that is introduced. The plot, while slightly predictable at some times, is still interesting and draws the reader in. The abilities explored in more depth and the writing style is good.Definitely worth the read (though you may want to read Sleep No More first, otherwise you'll be very confused).
