Works great but wish the little pieces that slide back and forth were longer for some jobs. We had to use a different method for some jobs.

I have a pin tool for 30+ years that mostly works but somewhat difficult to use. Pins bend or go on top of each other. This is a better design. It is easy to lay flat and press against a contour whether concave or convex (inside or outside radius)My 2 versions - long and short of this tool were somewhat loose and slats that copy the contour move rather easily. There is no adjustment to tighten slats or increase friction. When I tried to use screws that hold the body of the tool together I found that one of the screws was twisted off the thread and barely stayed in. I did not bother to exchange the tool as it can be repaired and is functional but take of some points due to quality problems

Not sure how truly useful this is. For certain use cases, it's very handy. But in tight spaces, you can't really use this. I gave it 4 stars because you can can definitely use it and it is quite convenient, but I wouldn't say it's essential to have in your toolbox.

Well made and hold the profile very well. Wish the templates were longer, need something that provides more than 2 inches of measurement. 4 or more would be better. In my process, I had 6x24 inch tiles that had to be cut around curved areas for a fireplace and wood storage areas. The 2 inch throw required multiple measurements along the curves to find the appropriate lines. A longer throw would have allowed quicker measuring and less time remeasuring.

If you work with shapes in tile, woodworking, etc., this is a handy, dandy little tool. Very cool that it came as a multi-size set. Juts what I was looking for. Very pleased with these Contour Gauge duplicators or whatever they are called. They make custom cuts way too easy to mark. Very pleased with these.

Work well but they don’t have a mechanism to lock the design in place.

You can use these gauges to get a rough mark for cutting around trim in say flooring but they aren't so precise that you can copy the contour of something finely contoured. I don't know if your supposed to use them with oil or water sprayed on them, I just used them dry. Or if these are knock offs and not as good but they don't look like what are portrayed in the adds.
