Kangaroo Mugs, Set of 6

I was very disappointed in these mugs and sorry that I now have 4 of them (although I had left 2 boxed thinking initially I would give them as a gift, I don't like them enough to do so.) I have used pouch mugs for many years, but the shape of this mug makes it uncomfortable with the small top. While I always squeeze my teabag before putting it in the pouch, still seems that some leaks out.

2 out of 4 arrived with hairline cracks in the surface, which was extremely disappointing since I was painting these and giving as gifts. I didn't have time to try to exchange. Besides that they seem like good mugs.

These arrived in perfect condition. They are well made. Some have asked if the pocket is large enough for a cookie. No it is not unless you're talking oblong biscuit type cookies. The pocket is just wide enough for a teabag.

These Kangaroo Mugs are a great idea. My mother had seen them at a friends' home and I have been searching for them ever since. I was having a very difficult time finding them and was really happy to see that Amazon had them available. They were shipped promptly and my mother was very surprised and pleased to receive them. The only minor down-sides are that there was not a variety of colors available and that they could not be purchased in less than a set of 4 even though they were packed in pairs. As this was a gift for a single person, she didn't really need four, however, the price was reasonable and now she will have enough for company and/or back-ups in the event of breakage.

These mugs were very high quality. I got them as a gift for my dad, who is a big green tea drinker. The pouch size is perfect, and the shape of the mugs are really nice. He's thrilled with them.

Tea bags don't really support the sized mugs that Americans prefer, so this smaller tea mug is a better fit. We add the tea bag to our mugs and go into another room to drink it. Thus there is the issue of where to put the tea bag when we remove it since we aren't in the kitchen. This little mug handles the problem very nicely.The reason I dropped one star was because the "pouch" opening isn't consistently shaped. It is clearly handmade, and thus the opening is narrow in some areas and wider in others. Some wider tea bags are a tough fit, because of the irregular narrowing.The other issue for me was one of mine has a black spot in the glaze right on the handle where it's highly visible making the mug look dirty. That is my biggest objection. Considering the price I'm not returning them, because it's too much trouble. I would just caution you not to expect perfection. Other than that, they are cute little mugs.Oh, and be sure to stuff a bit of paper towel in the pouch when you're making the tea. You'll need something to absorb tea dripping from the used tea bag while it sets in the pouch. Without this precaution tea from the pouch will drip down your shirt when you drink the last of your tea.

Love these mugs. I drink alot of green tea and the pouch is nice to have for the tea bag.
