GREAT VALUE
I originally ordered 1 package (5 dampers) to be sure they would work and also that I could easily install them. they only need one screw to hold them. I have large kitchen cabinet doors with three hinges each, so I was worried that one plunger might not work. I was pleasantly surprised how well they work. Since there is an adjustment (Just turn and knob) to set the plunger at how soft you want the door to close. I realized I could place the plunger anywhere on the cabinet that made sense. I placed some are higher than others at a height that keeps the plunger from interfering with taking things in and out of the cabinet. After installing the first five, I immediately ordered 15 more so I could add them to all the kitchen cabinet doors (18 in all). One important thing. You need to drill a small pilot hole for each plunger which makes the installation so much easier. Make sure you drill the hole at the proper angle as the plunger screws so in at an upward angle or a downward angle depending on which side yo want the screw.

Its ok
Works well, they are not metal as the picture depicts. Definitely plastic bit not a deal breaker. Also be weary of the amazon warehouse version. It comes with no screws

Just perfect - does what it is supposed to do!
I have used these soft-close door dampers for six or seven years in three different homes. They work as described and are easy to install. They do exactly what they are supposed to do and change a slamming cabinet door to a soft-close cabinet door. These are great!!

It works - somewhat
I had one of my door dampers go on me so i ordered this replacement. They work. The one I am replacing came with the cabinet and is much sturdier and well made then these replacements. The screws this comes with is about 2.5 times longer than the one I am replacing. I just don't understand why the screw has to be so long. And you can't just put it a little bit into the cabinet you have to screw it tight in, which means going deep into the cabinet. Otherwise, once adding an extension onto my drill so I could get the bit to go that deep into the cabinet, it works. I'm not sure of the longevity of these but if you need a door damper, and the cabinets you are putting them into aren't that expensive, this is a good route.Seems a little pricey for what you get but I really have no idea how much these normally cost as the only times I've used soft close hardware is when it comes with the cabinet I bought.

Order an extra set, they give out after 6 or 7 years.
This is a great product; the cabinet doors close silently again. Best part is when you order a set of ten they cost 1/3 the price of a two pack at Home Depot.

Franklin cabinet door damper, pack of 5
I purchased these cabinet door dampers for our kitchen cabinet doors, as my wife is a little hard on them. The reason for the poor rating is, they did not work for me. There doesn't seem to be any adjustment, with the adjusting screw, and they would not allow the cabinet doors to close. I worked the device about a hundred times, trying to make it "not as strong" but nothing changed. These are just too strong for a kitchen cabinet door. The door damper would hold the cabinet door open about two inches, and forcing the door shut concerned me that the door would become damaged. I'd give them to someone who wanted to try them.

Soft closers work well
We bought a new house and the kitchen cabinets slammed when closed. We tried felt which barely improved the noise problem so we ordered these soft closers and they work well. They install on the hinge side of the doors so do not impede access at all. I have serious arthritis which made it hard to install them on the bottom cabinets but I muddled through. The upper cabinets were a breeze to install. Drill a pilot hole and use a single screw. 2-3 minutes a closer install time.

Simple and excellent
Bought one pack of 5 to see if they were any good. They are brilliant, and super easy to use. You only need a drill with thin drill bit and a Philips screwdriver. One screw per dampener. It took me 10mins to attach all 5, AMAZING.....so I immediately ordered another pack. If I can put them in successfully, anyone can š

Most Important - THEY WORK, very easy to use
A couple recommendations when putting them on...loosen them a bit before screwing them in, that way you can easily adjust with your hand, if you dont their kinda tight to turn. I think one front end broke but that was me...and for any angled cupboards i tried taking the door off and moved the soft closing piece about 2-3 inches from the end and used 2 screws, put the door back on and it worked out great. they are a bit pricey I think for plastic but their pretty durable and saved me more $$ from having to buy soft closing proper hardware.

Good design
Very easy to install, only took few minutes to fix. Happy with the damping effect when doors closed. I will order more.

A great addition to make European hinges into soft close hinges.
I have liked soft close hinges since they came out, and when I put a new vanity in our basement bathroom, I definitely wanted to add that feature since the European hinges weren't already soft close. These dampers seemed like a good inexpensive solution, so I ordered them to try them out. First thing, they are made from plastic with a nickel plating, they are not a full metal body. A plastic body isn't necessarily a bad thing, but for $30 for 5 dampers, they should be made from metal.Since no instructions were included, I had to do some trial and error with mounting, but it seems these dampers must be mounted on the same cabinet face as the hinges (I was hoping they could be mounted on the top or bottom, but the doors just bounce back open if you try that). The supplied screws work well to secure the dampers, but the holes in the body are drilled at an angle so that they intersect, meaning you can only put one screw into the damper for mounting. FInally, there is an adjustment knob on the backside that allows you to fine tune the damping force to make sure the damper doesn't prevent the door from closing, nor allow it to close too forcefully.
