It arrived in 3 boxes so was easy to move around the house. The instructions were pictorial, reasonably easy to follow but small. The single bed took 2 people 2 hours to put together from unpacking to having bed covers on ready to use. We had our own mattress ready to go on, there isn't one provided. The frame seems quite sturdy but time will tell how it lasts. There is no hard base inside the otterman base but there is a fabric base held in place at the bottom with velcro all around. Once you put things inside the bed base for storage they are lying on the fabric on the floor so the bed will be very difficult to move. We bought it as a spare bed for guests so I'm expecting to last ok.

This is cheap, and easy to put together (took me 1.5hours, on my own, as someone who had only put together flat pack IKEA shelving - also I am 5ft tall and not very strong). Does not require power tools (there are feet under the bed that needs to be put on, you can use a screwdriver - but it is probably easier with a drill). You CANNOT ignore these feet, as the height would be wrong and the bed wouldn't shut properly.The frame is sturdy, and the pistons works amazingly. It is stiff at the beginning, but it will stay down with a few attempts + weight of the mattress.Lots of storage under the bed. This is directly on the floor, with a sheet that comes with the bed. So I guess you can put anything/any weight because it is directly on the floor.HOWEVER - the slats are flimsy.I would suggest getting this bed frame, but replacing all the slats - should be easy to get thicker replacement slats and middle+end caps that fit.The slats that come with the bed are 53mm wide, with the end caps having 35mm between the slots into the frame. This is pretty standard. You can just replace these with slats that are 63mm wide + slat holders that fit this, with 35mm between the holes.Hope this helps!

Fantastic product, took around 3 leisurely hours to put together with regular coffee breaks but I am a competent DIYer and there are a couple of headscratching moments, instructions are pictorial only ala IKEA so they can be used for a world purchase market, two bits of advice, DON'T fully tighten the nyloc nuts on the gas struts in case it locks them rigid, no instruction on this so I took the cautious route of fully tightening them then backing off half a turn, secondly there are about 50 or 60 Allen key bolts, tedious to hand tighten with the included two Allen keys, so what I did was hacksaw one of the Allen keys down so I could use the cut off straight bit in my electric screwdriver to wizz them up before fully tightening/nipping up with the other one, probably saved an hour and a lot of swearing and sore fingers (see picture). All in all a solid good looking product at a reasonable price, thanks to delivery lads also delivered in pouring rain and agreed to put the three boxes straight through the bungalow bedroom window for construction, hope that's helpful.

Worst customer service!Took me hours to unpack and start installation (instructions suck), several quality issues found you don’t expect from new bed (couple of scratches on leather, faded paint on metal rods).Disregarded and thought I shouldn’t waste my time, to only be stuck when finding that 2 bolts can’t be screwed, as nuts where not threaded!Wasted hours with customer support, escalated, and only solution they can find for me is to return in 2 weeks time, and to waste hours again & effort to disassemble everything and pack (find a way to pack after I obviously threw out all boxes). No replacement for the part or technical support to find a way to make it work is offered.

It's a Nice Bed frame easy to assemble, bare in your mind when assembling the frame it comes with tools but they not good enough, I used my own socket set to fix all bed and it takes couple of hours as I don't want the bed to be loose, don't over tighten the bolts and nuts hand tight is fine, I don't recommend impact driver as it will do max torque,It's reasonable price very comfortably free delivery so I recommend this product although can be stressful assembling it.Cheap great stylish and space saver.

Bought for daughters bedroom. Not the most sturdy bed, but good value for the price paid.

Tolles Produkt, sehr gute Qualität. Schnelle Lieferung, sehr gut verpackt. Einfache Montage, allerdings fällt dieses Bett kleiner aus als 200cm. Eine 90x190cm Matratze ist erforderlich.
