Painting Rocks (How-To Library (Cherry Lake))

Only 32 pages, and every page is counted, even the cover reprinted inside is page 1, publishing details is page 2, table of contents is page 3, you get the idea, it is page 12 before directions for painting a design start and the directions end on page 28, very skimpy! Very few designs, took up 6 pages just to show a simple face that wasn't much more than a smiley face, then how to paint a word rock and letter rocks were different instructions of the same concept. It's supposed to be a painting book, but every design is outlined with a permanent marker, no shading or highlighting tips of any kind. Wouldn't let me upload a photo, there are 2 pages about caves, wish she would have put more pages about painting rocks and more designs. The book also states the author has written over 300 books, there isn't much content in this one, they could make several books a day if they are all like this one. If I could rate the book a zero I would, don't waste your money!

Very disappointed. Wasn't advertised as a child's book.

Neat book - I can't wait till I can try the ideas in this book.

This is a perfect first rock-painting book. It's easy to follow, gives the steps very clearly and concisely but encourages creativity.

17 pages for £9 something it didn't show me anything I didn't already know which is next to nothing I've never been so disappointed insomething I've bought from Amazon, I've always been pleased with my purchases, which have been many but definitely not this time 😱

Very few examples to copy and thin book. Others are better for the money.

Good book with some good ideas, inspiring and fun too when you need a little help.
