I do not usually write reviews until an item has been around for a few weeks and I'm confident of it's durability and longevity, rather than it's "first impression". But, I'm so impressed with these lights that I've got to post about them. We are working on a small, inhome hydroponic (Kratky) "garden". I ordered the lights to supplement the light the plants get during the winter and the price on these was so good with 6, 4-foot fixtures around $40 and that included the power cords, that I didn't think I had much to lose. When they arrived, they were in such a small box that I was feeling like I'd been duped and was getting a single fixture, rather than 6. It's happened to me before, where I see the price and the photo shows 6, but the price is for a single item and you can also order 6, but the price is significantly higher. Not the case here. They are small diameter lights and there were, in fact, 6 in the box. Hooray for no wasted packaging!In the box were the 6 fixtures with built-in lights, so you probably won't be re-using them, but they have a 3-year warranty :D Also in the box were the power cords, and the installation brackets, but also connecting cords so you can connect them to one another and only use a single outlet. Love it! Sadly, the connecting cords were 6" shorter than I needed and i'll be ordering some longer cords, because it works better for my use of a timer and so I can use the other outlet for the plants on the adjoining wall.The light quality is phenomenal. My neighbors, who live 2 football fields away, mentioned last night that there is a very bright light source in one of our upstairs rooms. Very bright! The light is very white rather than the yellowish of tungsten and cheerful. I cannot say how well it will do for my plants, but I'm already feeling like replacing my kitchen light fixture with something that incorporates these lights. I don't see how I can go wrong since they have a 3-year warranty in addition to being exactly what i was looking for.

These lights are pretty good, I bought a different brand last time but it was gone when i went to buy another set a year later so I got these instead. they were the same price. These are great, super bright I have my garage lined with these things so my shop area is super bright. I only have two complaints, one is that the older ones had a nicer color, but you wouldn't really notice unless you put them next to each other, which I have in my garage so it bothers me. and the other was the last ones i bought came packaged with a nice cardboard separator, but these were just loose in a box with the cable plugs and clips rattling around so they were a little scratched up, not a big deal because theyr'e just garage lights and one in my closet hidden behind the door so you can't even see the light but it's still a difference between these and the last pack I bought.

It is much brighter than I expected and super easy to install!They came in pack of six and are very easy to install, actually there is really no need to install anything because the cable is included and I snapped it into one end of the light and that's it, super easy. I used them in the patio and as soon as I plug in they put out enormous amount of light and I couldn't have been happier with it. Honestly I was expecting half of that but it surprised me with how much light it could put out. Besides, there is very little effort when I put them up the wooden ceiling, they came with packs of screws and clips, which were handy with the wooden surfaces. The lights were very light weighted so no need to search for studs or anything, they snap on the clips very steadily. It may become a challenge if you want to use the light on a cement or brick surface. If anything I wish the cords were longer but not a big issue especially since our ceilings were high so we had to use extension cords anyways.

I bought these. Half don’t work after three years of occasional use. Not a good buy for the long term.

I love these lights. I'm an artist and designer in a 1300 sq ft vaulted bungalow in Napa Ca. I have been using my garage as a catch all,studio workshop,office, hang out.It gets so darkin the space I cannot see to use power tools. These lights are astonishingly bright and very easy to install( I used prefinished batten strips that were lying around and I mountedthe clips for two lights on each 9foot length of batten then screwed the batten to the ceiling rafter and just clipped and connected the lights in...plug and play! I think the manufacturer should add a more clips( hint hint) I could use a few extra...Please send! Other than that the light is a pleasing daylight and I'm ordering another set for my trophy cases in my living room! Thank you for these lightweight miracles that didnt cost 10000 or 500.00 and are made quite well. Extruded aluminum housing and plastic lens with some flex! It took two hours roughly to install!

Absolutely loved these lights. I used them for nearly half a year now and still work great. I purchased one set of daylight 6500K and that worked perfectly for my basement. My basement is a very typical looking type with wooden ceilings. The clips which came with the lights were very convenient when I put the lights up. No hassle, very easy to set up. The lights are so bright the difference for my basement was like day and night. The 6500K works perfectly I don't feel it is very harsh on my eyes also. Our basement is around 20x30 ft and we used 3 of these lights, I feel the center light gives enough light that it can almost do but with 3 lights we have a much better coverage everywhere especially with my piles of tools everywhere. Now I put away my old 4x100W incandescent bulbs and I'm happy that I have these new lights. I wish I got them earlier.
