As an entertainer I have lace front wigs for performance, but have found that under hot stage lights or at a hot venue the lace can lift. I've used It Stays for a long time, which is so easy to apply and washes off with water, but it is not good in heat. When I've come to take the wig off, the lace is hardly attached, so I looked for a stronger adhesive that wouldn't be affected when you get hot. Having looked at a lot online, I decided to try this one and so far have been very impressed. It is easy to apply to the forehead where the lace is going to go (four layers of adhesive, but it dries quickly so it's not a long process) and then press the lace in place. It then seems stuck fast and the wig isn't going anywhere, it feels very secure. During the coronavirus pandemic there have been no public performances so I haven't been able to try it out in that situation yet, but have tried it out by sitting in a hot bath. Normally heat and steam would have lifted the lace, but with this adhesive the lace remained firmly in place and even splashing my face/forehead with hot water didn't make any difference. The lace only came off using the adhesive remover. This is also easy. Just a few drops of the remover on the lace and it starts to dissolve the adhesive (without damaging the lace). I also put some of the remover on to a cottonwool bud and then it is easy to just work it under the edge of the lace and gently remove the wig. Some reviewers say that it doesn't stick, but I think that if you follow the directions accurately (i.e. four layers of adhesive) then the wig will be secure.

Good and last long

There's a very familiar smell from this. Like rosemary or orange oil. I think I would've been better buying the oil,as this product is quite expensive for the amount you get.

Easy and quick removal of hair piece after applying on hair piece and waiting a few minutes for it to work in. Its also very good for removing the glue off the lace afterwards. Expensive but it does the job.

Love this it works, I can go to the gym and sweat without it coming loose. It doesnt lift up and with the remover easy to take it off

Gets wig glue off right away, smells abit weird but does its job

Great for removing tape in’s but do leave some glue left in the hair, don’t know if it’s the extensions faults or the oil?
