Solid filters that work really well
These have a solid feeling to them. A bit thicker than your standard coffee filter. They've been great with my Kalita Wave. Fit perfectly and have helped produce a solid cup every time. Be sure to wet them first if you're doing a pour over. Not much in the way of a papery taste, but better to be safe. They are a bit difficult to pull apart. I usually take one of the stacks (there are three separate parts in the bag) and remove the bottom one so I disturb the folding as little as possible.

They filter!
They're the OEM filters sized to fit my Kalita Wave 185 and they unsurprisingly do fit it exactly as expected! Not sure how this could be anything but five stars. They keep the sediment out of my carafe. I guess they're a little expensive as coffee filters go in general, but unless you're going through several a day, I don't find the cost unreasonable and let's be honest with each other, you own a pour over, you're probably using quality coffee from a quality local shop or reputable roaster, you've committed to some expense in the pursuit of the best coffee. This is the life you and I chose.

Makes for great coffee. Perfect fit for Bluebottle filter cone.
These filters, paired with the appropriate Kalita or Bluebottle cone, make noticeably better coffee, plain and simple. I started out using the Bluebottle cone and filters, but balked at what Bluebottle was charging for filters ($5.00 for 30 filters---it's insane). Bluebottle is just repackaging the brown version of these (the size and paper are identical; they're a perfect fit.) They arrived in a couple days, so I guess the other comments talking about months-long lead times are out of date. I should add that I don't much like the brown version. They have a strong brown-paper-towel smell that doesn't wash out. The white ones are odorless.

They work well as advertised
Good filters work great in my OXO pour over. Even though these are the larger size 185 filters they are still a little small to me. I make 12oz cups of coffee with 25g of beans and this works well. The OXO Pour over uses similar filters, but they are brown paper and have a bad taste, so I prefer the Kalita.Tip: Always prewash paper filters to remove paper taste.

My favorite filter for pour over coffee
Filters are sturdy and hold their shape well. Best I've found for my glass pour-over cone!

Who cares if legit, great filters!
Love these filters. We've been buying these for a few years now for our Kalita Wave. There is a lot of talk about whether they are legit or not, and I guess I don't really care, because they do a great job. Packaging certainly leads me to believe it is a real Kalita product. I've never gotten a chemical or paper taste on these filters, unlike the natural brown filters. I find these to be perfect and my household will continue to use them daily.

A bit of hassle to achieve best results, but coffee is OUTSTANDING!
Second edit! I found workarounds to my issues, but it means I'm using two filters PLUS cutout filter barriers to two of the three holes to slow down the passage of water.PROS: If you take the trouble, as I do, to preheat your mug, allow your freshly ground beans to "bloom" after the first pour, and then slow down the passage of subsequent water through the glass filter, you end up with a FABULOUS mug of coffee. Good thing, too, because Melitta doesn't sell a product in U.S. any more for one person to make a single pourover cup or mug for one person. Also, I found no French Press solutions for making one large mug of coffee (mine is 18-20 oz.) Amazon only has 12 ounce and 32 ounce French Press options. I now use my Kalita every day!CONS: If you use only one filter, the water passes through so fast that it doesn't have time to fully extract the flavor in your freshly ground beans. You have to take some trouble to get the best results, but it's absolutely worth it. My process: Preheat mug and prerinse the filter paper, discarding the first pour of water to avoid a very slight paper taste, if it is noticeable to you, Also, using two filters per mug of coffee is more expensive, and I even block two of the three holes to slow the process down, but it's worth it for fabulous results. Since Melitta only sells automatic coffee makers or a large ceramic set in the U.S. now, the top alternative for great coffee would be the old reliable Bodum Chambord 8 Cup French Press Coffee Maker, 34 oz., Chrome method, only available in 12 or 34 ounce sizes.BOTTOM LINE: At first I thought it was too much time and trouble but the routine's easy, the glass filter's pretty (and not plastic), and I'm hooked on using it every day now for a 20 ounce mug of FABULOUS coffee.
