So so
I’ve seen these work on YouTube. This one is rather small plus you need a drive motor to make it work the best. It’s just ok. I would rather just use an axe.

Not what its cracked up to be...
The bit is too small and unable to get enough leverage to split eucalyptus or oak. It works fine splitting pine, but then pine is "Gopher Wood" you know,... start a pine fire and go fer more. Build a better muse trap guys.

Good tool to use when you can't or don't wand to use a wedge and sledge.
We used this tool to remove house logs on an addition we were demolishing. Not wanting to shake things up on the inside of the house with impact from a wedge and sledge, we used this splitter instead. The only considerationone needs to take into account is the size of the tool; take out small bits of wood from the edges of the log and you'll have no problems.

Doesn't work unless you have a really big drill, I guess
If you don't have a big hammer drill for this you'll just have a big paperweight. I haven't been successful with any wood splitting and I have a pretty powerful impact drill.

Cheap price, you get what you paid for...
I have seen items similar to this online and looked like a great idea to make kindlin for starting out wood stove. On my first attempt the tool got stuck on the log and none of my drill’s would remove it, when you go to back the tool out of the wood the shank backs out of the tool leaving the tool exactly where it was. I struggled but finally got the MOLLG Wood Splitter, out of the piece of wood.My next attempt I made sure I picked smaller pieces and for the first 3 pieces of wood the splitting tools seemed to work well. I continued on planning to make a bunch of kindlin I made sure I was picking smaller pieces of wood, on the third piece of firewood the tip of the wood splitter broke, leaving me with a blunt end. I did not use this wood splitter for more than 20 minutes and it was broken already. I am sure if I drill a small pilot hole I could get this to work, but what’s the point with that? I would not suggest buying this one in particular. I would opt for a hardened version and make sure you have a good strong drill.

WORKS GREAT...
...on my cordless drill, but I'm going to mount an electric drill to a stand to REALLY get some "UMPH!"

Hard to get to bite into wood
Not a good sharp starting tip, and this requires a powerful drill. An 18v+ dewalt/makita/Milwaukee.
