My husband has been suffering from a condition that causes his hands to shake. His shaking has gotten worse and while he was in the hospital, the nurse brought him a weighted silver to try, to see if the weight would help him to feed himself, so far they’ve been helpful. I’ve have tried numerous weighted silverware in the past and this set has far exceeded my expectations. Now my husband and I can go out to eat and he doesn’t have to worry about losing his food on his silverware, the weight on these are perfect for him.

My mom has essential tremors and this flatware is very heavy on the handle and helps her hands not to shake and she is able to eat her food better. I highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. These utensils are beautiful and feel good in your hands. I bought them for my elderly father who sometimes has a tremor, so he would have better control of his utensils while eating. The packaging is also gorgeous, making this a wonderful gift. However, I didn't realize that the knife would only be serrated on one side! Is normal for dinner knives? It's also supposed to come with a black cloth "easy to carry travel wrap." You can see this in four different images. But it does not, so this is false advertising. With these caveats, the utensil set is lovely overall but overpriced and somewhat disappointing.

My father has tremors and we bought this for him to use. The silverware was very nice looking. I didn't want something that looked bulky and stood out. I wanted him to be able to use it and not feel like he was using something different than everyone else. Unfortunately, my dad is extremely picky and said he thought it was too heavy. This is not a reflection on the silverware. I'm planning on sneaking it to him when he doesn't realize it and see what happens. I would highly recommend these to anyone needing weighted silverware.

The utensils are excellent. They do exactly what they are supposed to do - make it easier for someone with essential tremors or Parkinson's tremors use eating utensils without dropping or clanking nearly as much as they would with regular utensils. Yes, they are heavier than normal utensils. No, they do not completely take the shakes away, but they help you manage through the problem. My wife appreciates being able to do just that. I highly recommend these utensils to anyone with that type of issue.

I ordered the 12 piece setting an air love them. They feel good.when you hold them. I wish the handle was a little thicker but, I'm happy with them.
