This is a book of compiled grayscale pictures by Kimberly Hawthorne. More for the advanced colorist in my opinion. Great variety of pictures, 100 pictures to color. Decent price. Paper is a little thin so if you use markers and the like definitely place a piece of cardstock underneath the page you are coloring. All in all a good book.

I SO want to give this a better review. But I can't. There are some really great grayscale pics to color. But there are many that are just a hot mess, like they took a colored picture, made it black and white and shrunk it down. It's a mishmash of great and terrible. I don't like disorder. Many if the pictures have, just, too much going on. Some may like the intricate details, but with grayscale, it's very hard to get a good change in depth to catch the realism. The last pic I posted I didn't even see what it was at first. Then, it hit me. A face. Duh.

This is a great beginner and or advanced coloring book for adults. The paper is good and I use personally prisma color premier coloring pencils. I am a beginner and not a good artist. It is just for me to relax and ease stress while at the same time learning new techniques. Grayscale color books can be hit or miss. This one is a definite hit and I plan to look up the artist and look at some more of the books to purchase as soon as I am finished with this one.

I love coloring in this book. I showed it off to friends and family,and ordered one for a friend.

This book is very big and has pictures for every mood and taste. I have been enjoying it since the day it arrived.

The only thing about is the pages re kind of light. That makes it difficult to copy I don’t want to color in my books. So I copy them in case I want to do them again.
