I gotta say I was highly disappointed with these fuses. For starters I actually thought they were ceramic, which I guess is my fault for not looking closer, but it doesn’t actually say (the are definitely plastic housings btw). Next I got a pair and the 2 fuses had 2 different sizes of text indicating their rating (no big deal I guess), but the kicker was, they also had 2 completely different sized wires in the center! I can’t exactly see the thickness, so I suppose it’s possible that the smaller of the 2 is much thicker, and the other thinner, actually making them the same rating... but come on, I’m not trusting that, especially on my main fuse! Plus if the manufacturering is this inconsistent, the quality can be that good... right? Did I mention they are plastic and just feel super crappy? They are getting returned, I suppose for the price they are ok, but I’ll be opting to spend a little more doe in lieu of some real ceramic ANL’s... I guess if you’re doing a budget build with other “budget” components (amps, etc) then you’d be fine, but the completely different sized internals really through me (see pic)—you’d think that they would a least try to match them when packaging if they had 2 different “designs” with the same ratings...

How do YOU test fuses? These are on my battery charging circuit forSolar charger/inverter with split phase output on 120VAC outputs. This is a modest 5000W system with 3 stacks of 56V batteries in parallel. Charging is computer controlled to 60A so these should never pop unless there were a faulty short. They are plated and pretty with soft tabs so you can move these about. As they are slick you must use multitooth lock washers. They look like they would pop safely near their rated load. Wear safety glasses near this type of fuse. Each of my battery stacks has a 60A fuse so it would take a massive mistake to blow this one at the charger. These are on a 200A cable.

I am reluctant to review fuses because I don't have a good way of testing them. These fuses are redundant in my system but there has not been any issues with them. I just don't have a good way to verify they will blow at their rates amps.

I needed the fuse as soon as possible since I live in my van full time. Amazon got it delivered to me faster than anyone else I ordered from. I ended up canceling the rest. Months later this fuse is doing its job! Always check amazon FIRST.

The seem a bit flimsy and cheaply made. I'm sure they will likely work just fine but it would be nice if the metal used for connections were a little thicker. Perhaps I'm being picky but I just thought they would be a bit more robust.
