WeruvaClassic Cat Stews!, Stewlander with Duck & Salmon in Gravy, 2.8oz Can (Pack of 12)

I ordered this because everyone was out of my regular brand and the nutrition was closer to what my senile old cat eats. Not going to lie; this looks terrible- like it was already eaten at least once and ought to have a hair ball sitting in the middle of it on the hallway floor. Very liquid which isn’t a bad thing for an elderly cat. That being said, my cat loves it and yummed it right up, so I’m happy with it.

A few she liked but they all were stinky abd smelled horrible. But she loves this brand! And good for her kidneys!

first off this stuff stinks to high heaven! very very liquidy when you open so be careful. Also cats will fly through the air to get at this - at least mine did. I ended up putting down the open can and letting him start slurping and quckly opened 2 more for the other 2. they were still slurping. I'm pretty sure there's meat on the bottom but the amount of thick juice is what made mine happy campers. I'll be ready with some small bowls for them next time as the plates I normally use would be hard to keep the broth in place!

My cat lives this and so do I. All varieties! There’s even pouches and another entire group that’s in a purple box. She loves that too. But, I especially love these because they are SO full of liquid, about half liquid. It’s SO very important for cats if all ages to drink a lot of water. Mine just have never had enough. Not having enough can lead to kidney failure—which is very common in cats. You can’t go wrong. It has healthy ingredients, no grains and my cat likes them! Try it!!

This is a great product and my 12 year old calico loves it. It has lots of gravy in it which is great for older cats and when it's refrigerated the gravy becomes a nice thick gel that she loves....it's also minced in small pieces which is great if your cat has tooth problems (mine doesn't though)- my problem isn't the product.Every Weruva wet cat food I've tried (all of them)- has great ingredients and she loves them all- I should also mention that her coat is thick and shiny and her health is amazing since I started her on this.My problem is with the delivery- in this last delivery the cat food was practically thrown onto the front porch and had fallen halfway off the doorstep- and one end of the box was crushed- so was the can of food on that corner- which made it spill all over everything else. This is also not the only problem I've had with Amazon package delivery over the last month.

My cats are super fussy. They like ALL their food to be a very soupy consistency. That said this "stew" is close - but unless I put it in a mini blender (to break down the little chunks of meat) they would leave that part - and it turned out to be a lot left at the bottom of the bowl. It was a waste. Now that I put this stew into blender to break it down into a smooth soup --- they lap it up. They LOVE it! But it takes a little extra work.

This food isn't a stew, don't be fooled by the name. It's a thin, watery soup with very little solid meat of any kind. I was very disappointed because so far had been very favorably impressed by Weruva. In most of their selections, you can actually see the bits of fish or meat, plus veggies. Not on the Classic Stews, however. Skip it and save your money. Or try another Weruva menu item ... just not this one.

Tried Weruva again because of the good reviews, and because I want my cats to like this food. In the past, I have tried different Weruva varieties, without success. My cats will not touch them. I thought, this one might be it because it is with gravy but still no success.The can needs to be opened carefully, because 2/3 of the content is thin gravy and if you don’t know, it will run all over your hand. The food smells great and has the perfect consistency for gravy lovers and older cats. And the ingredients are great also. It’s just my cats not liking anything Weruva. I noticed that they refuse foods and treats including pumpkin. That might be the problem but I also had the refusal issue with the After Dark varieties.

My cats didn't like this product at all. The cat stew had loads of gravy and easily digestible very small pieces of meat . However none of my 5 cats like it which is such a pity .I bought this product for my cat with chronic feline kidney disease. Unfortunately she didn't like it either.
