Discovery World Furniture Twin Bookcase Daybed with 3 Drawers and Twin Trundle, Espresso

Love the bed. It was fairly easy to put together. I didn't like the self tapping screws. That did make it a little difficult to get the whole bed together. There were a few noticeable scratches on the wood. Over all satisfied with the bed. The delivery of the bed is a totally different story. That was terrible.

I LOVE this bed. Bought it for myself because I needed more storage space. It's a good price when compared to simliar beds from other companies, and the wood IS real (cheap pine; but still real and far superior to particle board and plywood). I can store a lot more stuff than with this than I could fit under my old bed.I used the Trundle to store my large art sketch pads, canvases, and portfolios. Even have some sheets of upholstery foam in there. So the Trundle drawer is useful for storage and not just as a spare bed.The only drawback is that my cat keeps darting inside/under the bed when I've got the Trundle open. Luckily, those little doors on the sides are perfect Feline Retrieval Hatches.Also, you WILL want to let this bed air out for a few days in a well-ventilated area before sleeping on it. It smells really strong of chemicals at first, but that fades soon enough with baking soda and fresh air.Note that the bed is dropped off in your yard and not carried inside the house by the delivery guys. So be sure to have someone around to help you carry the boxes inside. In my case, my Dad and I opened everything up in the yard and brought it in piece-by-piece as we assembled it.

Great for my disabled friend living in an assisted living facility! We needed to make more space in his room, and this was the perfect solution!!

At first I was skeptical. It came in 5 different boxes. But it's step by step. All boxes were labeled. It's a heavy but sturdy bed. My teenager loves it. I got ab10 inch mattress forbade top to use with it and a 6 inch mattress for the trundle bed.

As long as you can follow those directions that are diagram-only, you're going to love this bed! It was easy enough to put together and looks beautiful when completed. You have to get your mattresses separately, but that allows you to get the style/firmness you want. And it's an awesome space-saver in my grandson's room - it lets him have more floor space most of the time, but still gives us someplace for friends to stay for sleepovers (assuming they actually sleep).

This bed is solid and is easy to assemble. However, I am really disappointed in the gap between the drawer unit and the trundle. I didn't expect to see the mattress on the trundle from the front view of the bed. I will be contacting the company tomorrow. Also, the trundle will only handle a mattress that is 8" thick at a maximum. Also the back to the head board has a gap that I had to fix with electrical tape and shoe polish.

This bed is well made and mostly preassembled for you upon delivery. Took about an hour in total start to finish. A bit more expensive than some others but I wanted something that is 100% real wood and not particle board or MDF. Basically you get what you pay for and this is a nice piece of furniture that will last years.

My son loves it and it took us a few hours to put it together which is pretty good. For what we paid for it was fine
