I bought 6 books to help me gain some practical strategies to work with my students, but this is the only one I kept. It is well written, easy to read, and hands on. Others focused on the politics of second language learning or were too general to be helpful. Buy this book if you want down to earth, easy to integrate teaching strategies to teach your ELL students. Love this book!

I was required to buy this book for a class. Solid strategies with clear directions. Not the most unique strategies but the book is easy to read. Lots of graphics are a plus.
