I purchased these movers with the specific intention of placing them in a ceiling soffit, where they were positioned to shoot its beams against the ceiling above. I quickly discovered that 1) they're really bright and 2) they automatically turn on whenever power is applied to its 120v input. Armed with these two discoveries, I chose to connect the lights to a smart plug, which has been programmed to turn on every day at sunset. This has been perfect, as the lights turn on once the outdoor sun is beginning to go down - rather than being on 24/7, even during the daytime. They do create a bit of noise with its fan and motors, but its certainly inline with the noise generated by much more expensive mover lights that I have used in the past.Overall, very bright and reliable mover lights - especially considering they're <$100

This thing was well built, and works awesomely. The DMX control works well, or you can just let it do its own thing in sound mode. I was impressed that you can control the exact position of each rotating unit precisely when using a DMX controller. Pretty sweet unit, especially for the price.

This is a fantastic value for the money. I would purchase this again in a second. It’s bright, responsive, and looks amazing.

Update: The company was very willing to work with me to get this addressed. Changing to 4 stars.Update 2: I was able to adjust the lights by opening them and switching the wring plugs.I bought two of these. Each one has two moving pieces with four fixed color lights on each. I would expect when I placed the two side by side and controlled them on the same DMX channel they would behave the same way. However, they work opposite from one another. Please advise about how to fix this.

This Moving party light becomes a great addition to my dmx light collection. What i like most is its built in rich programs: it can be controlled either by the manual menu system or by the dmx controller. I like to have the light and music synchronized to create a colorful light show, so i have DMX controlled stage light setup

These rotating lights are great for small area, the instructions are in abbreviations displayed on the screen soread the instructions well to get the best affects you want. Will definitely buy more.

A decent effect of you have other lights. Sounds activation is far too sensitive. Have lounge music outside with speaker 6 ft away still not triggering it even when it's to loud for neighbors 100ft away. Needs to trigger at noise above at least at a person singing in the room, not a night club.

I am like to partying with all peoples of the different backgrounds. That is why making this purchased was the best ideas. The many lights are prefect in making the room to shine and the dancers to glisten in bathing lights. Those are the best!
