I've used all sorts of lids and caps, but this one is by far the most convenient. I love the spring loaded cap and the fact its BPA free and cleans easily. The cap when closed is secured well. No rattling or shaking when it's closed. You'd think the push button would fail at some point too, but I haven't had any sort of issue with it. I cut off the carrying handle as I use a paracord handle and it is perfect. I always have a hard time drinking enough water and ever since I used this, I've been drinking at least twice the normal amount of water. My only concern is how thin the plastic is towards the spring. I could see a bad fall could break it, but I'll update at the 6 month mark. Overall, the price is great, the functionality is great, and it's also nice to have different color bands to add character.UPDATE*I dropped my hydro flask and the cap busted right at the threads. No fault of the cap, but it does not take a drop very well. Full 40 oz of water from a drop of 3 feet and it broke off. Ordered another replacement anyways. The cost is a lot less than an actual Hydroflask cap. I’m still happy with the cap!

Nothing more to say. They fit perfect. As a warning, if you're prone to dropping your hydroflask regularly (as I am) the lid may break at the cap hinge, but if you're not a klutz then worry not! IMO was not worth deducting from 5 Star status for my inability to keep my hydroflask in my hands.

These are not totally leak proof and have a tendency to split around the spout

I really liked the lid after I got it. It was easy to use and I really liked the changeable color band. However, the button that releases the cap popped out of its socket after only 20 days or so. I tried to put it back, but it would continue pop out the socket every time i tried to use it. I contacted the company directly but the customer service was not very helpful. Thankfully, it was within 30 days, so i was able to request for an exchange via amazon. Then i came across a different item on amazon that seems to have a much better design when it comes to the release button. My suggestion is to look around for a different lid if durability is one of the qualities that you are looking for.

Cheapest lids I could find, and it has the quality to match.They do work, they do function, but... they don't open well and the spring is not strong enough to hold the spout open. So when I go to take a drink it hits me in the face when I forget to hold it open.They still get a 3 star because 1, they don't leak, and 2, they were the least expensive ones I could find.

These fit the Simple Modern water bottle perfectly. Price was much better. Fully functional.

The concept is exactly what I want: a quick, push-button, spring loaded flip top. It works great for 1-4 weeks before the push button stops staying secure while in the open position. After that time, the button will just pop out of the unit entirely. The tabs that are supposed to keep it in are too short. This means if you don't keep it held in with your finger while sipping, the button will fall out and the spring will end up on the ground somewhere. I've purchased 4 of these over the past year or so and they all had the same problem.If you manage to not lose the button long enough, you'll notice a mildew smell and staining on the silicone/rubber that is impossible to get rid of as other reviewers have mentioned. No amount of scrubbing or dishwashing can get rid of it and it gets worse with time. Sadly I'm giving up on this product. I hope somebody can make something similar that sucks less.Edit: I found one! https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09L63XXKC - I've only had this one for a day so far, but immediately it seems to be better designed, stronger spring, stronger button/click, and even has a lock function.
